Our city is very supportive of mulching the trees, so when we don't need the tree anymore, a big truck comes to pick it up and turn it into mulch for the community gardens and city landscapes. It's exciting to watch them packed on to trucks, on their way to make people's holidays happy. The farms where most of them grow up actually make pretty good habitat for little creatures like rabbits, and since leafless trees grow naturally here, they don't really need any pesticides, which is good.<br />I was excited Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11282835831657050193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6831973523430732234.post-47549793545373399912010-12-07T14:14:49.861-08:002010-12-07T14:14:49.861-08:00Puglet, Only a super professional supermodel like ...Puglet, Only a super professional supermodel like you could work those antlers!! It is just too hard to keep a real but dead tree from drying out. So they chose fake. The nice thing about real trees (even if dry) is they can be mulched.
