BOOTED

Sorry I missed everyone on Friday. My human was crazybusy with the other 999 (of course) and I was busy trying to get over getting kicked out of Target on Thursday.

Yep. Target totally booted me.

I guess my human needed to get an umbrella and it was too hot to leave me in the car so she took me with her. Had to sit in a stupid basket, but that was ok.

I'd never been in a Target before but my friend Noodles goes there all the time so I totally didn't expect to get booted. But I guess California Targets must be different or something because I only lasted 2 minutes in there before getting the boot.

We did get the umbrella though. Even though we didn't have to use it.

Cali must be special cause mom can't seem to take me anywhere but the flower store (Lowe's) and occasionally a drive thru where they give out treats. Wish we lived in Cali, then I could see what all those other places are all about.

right? Ohio isn't much better. I'm not allowed in many places either. Mom just says she will avoid those places and we will go to the parks instead!!!! YAY!

Puglet, That's not very nice of Target to give a cute pug the boot. I'm going to count you as lucky anyway, because you will *not* believe what happened to me yesterday. My human took me to that Bishop Ranch Vet place you went to and they were really nice at first, lots of hugs and kisses, then I felt a little funny and dozed off. Well, the next thing I knew I was waking up and I have stitches in my nose and under my eyes and my mouth hurts in the back! My human came and got me as soon as she heard what they had done to me, she said something about breathing better and not having ouchy eyes, but so far I'm not sure.

Well, maybe my eyes and nose will be extra fetching for my photoshoot, I thought I looked pretty cool already.

That's insane, Puglet! Target totally let's me in (but not near the food). I think you and the Minneapolis Pugs need to stage a protest. What would they do if 50 pugs showed up?
Just sayin'

Whats the matter with Target? Don't they know a celebrity when they see one? Would they kick out Lassie or Rin Tin Tin or Bengy or Otis and Milo?
Well, some of those I don't even know who they are. My humom told me to say them. They must be special though.
Home Depot lets dogs go in there with their people. We went there last Saturday and it was so fun. Lots of butts to smell. My humom got to pet all of them. Their heads, not their butts. Their people were really nice and friendly too. We bought a lot of stuff there, but nothing exciting. Definitely no bacon.

That's pug discrimination if I ever saw it!

Who can resist a pug face???

Puglet, we don't even try to be in Target.... MN/WI are not that dog friendly, you know? By the way, I checked on your human's eyebrow, it looked totally fine. She should shave it off more often (LOL).I bet she did not find any good bagel in MN.
ps. Neko is in love with your human....

Puglet,

Next time try a better disguise than to look like a pug.

Was it a Super-Target or just a regular Target .... doesn't matter. You should have gone to Wal-Mart!

You need to get yourself a pair of Grocho Marks glasses - no idea, but Mom says you'll need them for when you are really rich & famous

Say what!?! That is preposterous Pug that you couldn't Target booted you!

Next time, since Men in Black 3 is coming out, maybe you should tell them you're Frank the Pug acting coach or stunt double. Maybe that'll help.

Lots of Juju for Augustus! Feel better buddy!

Live in San Antonio, Texas and the only place a pug can get in is PetSmart or other doggie type stores. We aren't welcome anywhere and that just stinks.

poor Puglet. when my humans visited Boston, MA they saw dogs EVERYWHERE! in grocery store, gelaterias, convenience stores... but sadly, it's not that way in Oklahoma either.

hope you don't mind a little Cairn Terrier commenting with all the other pugs. my human has lots of love for puggy faces but just doesn't own one right now.

lots of doggie love from Bella in OK.

Poor Puglet, it's the same here, if it isn't Pet Smart I'm not gonna get in!

ok new word for us, learning new words makes DP even more fantastic :) Poland is also not so dogs friendly country, but Poznan (were we live)has some restaurants, mom promised we will go there soon, beacuse nice lady that owns this restaurant invited us, then mom said we are naughty pugs, and the lady said, the frying pan is waiting in the kitchen !! no idea ! :))We don't have Target, but we think we couldn't go to place like Target and we also would get the boot :) hugs PT

Thanks for all the juju!

I am feeling better today for sure and there are some good things about what happened to me. I get to sleep right next to my human in her bed, I get soft food and treats and because I have been so good about not rubbing or scratching my face, they left the cone of shame at the vet!

Maybe it will be worth it after all, especially if I can keep up with my Boston Terrier sister when we play.

Poor Puglet! You were telling us about that on Sunday. It was so nice to meet you! We can't wait to see Lily's pictures, though we don't expect to see them too soon since we know how musy Miss Gimpy Brain is. (Though we thought she was pretty cool too!)

Hey Puglet,
Sorry you got kicked out of Target. Things are much different in South Florida. I can go just about anywhere with my human, like the mall, Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, yup just about anywhere. I love going out to eat with my human they even bring me my own bowl of water too :)

Better luck next time!

We hope you feel better soon Augustus! And Minnesota has very fuzzy laws about animals being in places food is sold :( We can hardly go anywhere with our momma. Just the pet stores, grandma's house and the occasional outdoor bar patio, but where else does anyone need to go besides to get pug food and toys?!
