So, today we hit a new low on The Other 999 Pugs tour. Up until now things have been pretty ok. Getting to meet everyone has been supercool and it's been really fun to visit all the new places and smells. My human has even been letting me do a ton of bagel tests (even though the scale at Petsmart said I'm way past tubey). So having to share my human, my treats AND Nikon hasn't been so terrible... until today.
Because today we cooked hotdogs and brats for The Other 999 and nothing for me. That's right. I had to see the hotdogs+brats, smell the hotdogs+brats and even help freaking cook the hotdogs+brats but wasn't allowed to eat or even lick one.
So not fair.
Tiffy's dad felt bad that I didn't get to eat a hotdog or brat and promised to make some sort of special corn dog or something for me when we get back from Milwaukee, but that won't be for a few days and I don't even know what a corn dog is. Tiffy's dad understands the magic of meat so I know he'll totally look out for me but it still kinda sucks I didn't get to taste anything we cooked today.
Uhm, anyone ever have a corn dog??

holy crap that is torture! doesn't your mom know that you have to maintain a certain level of back fat, just for my pleasure?? I personally know Tiffy's dad, so I know he'll hook you up big time. Hurry home soon Pug, we've got lost time to make up for.
Bella is right, Tiffy's dad is the right human to go to for the hook up. As far as corn dogs go; once we lost Phoebe at the park where there was a carnival nearby; after our mom looked for what seemed like forever, we found Phoebe sitting with some stranger kid & they were sharing a corn dog. We try not to talk about corn dogs around here. However Phoebe says that it was totally worth it. Just think of a chicken nugget but with a hot dog. Need we say more. Enjoy your corn dog. Hurry home, we love to watch Bella-T attack your back fat.

I have to admit that I've NEVER had a hot dog, don't know what a corn dog is and have NEVER EVER heard of a brat!!! I've seen you swallow a hot dog whole and it was AWESOME. My human would have given you TEN hotdogs just so we could watch you do that over and over again. You're AMAZING so I have NO idea why you didn't at least get one hot dog. TOTALLY NOT FAIR!!!!
Have an AWESOME time at Pugfest and make sure you say hi to Karen and Jaleigh from Green Mountain Pug Rescue. Tell your human she has to check out the Pug quilt Jaleigh made and EVERYONE should buy raffle ticket's because one lucky winner is going to take it home with them.

Wow not even one bite of a hot dog, you poor thing. A corn dog is pretty good but I'm sure it will pay off in the end, keeping off those extra pounds from junk food. I can't wait to meet you in October in Toronto.
That seriously is a low. We must say though, you look like a pro manning the grill ~ or should it be pugging the grill?

Pug, that's the last straw. I think you should come live with us in Maine. Megan has to take a pill every night and Mom gives it to her in a bite of....HOTDOG! And, I get a bit just so I'm not left out. That's every single night of our life! You can't beat it. Think about it......

That is so not fair! Mom cut up two pounds of kosher beef hot dogs last night for Pugapalooza and wouldn't let us have even one piece! And she made treat bags for the Doggy Walk, also not sharing! So we feel your pain. At least until tomorrow. Tomorrow will be bliss! Wish you could be here! Those hot dogs are going into a baby pool for bobbing for hot dogs. And we've got a box filled with paper and treats that you get to dig through! And the Doggy Walk (like a cake walk but for dogs). And the Frosty Paws eating contest! And barksicles! Tomorrow will be heaven for pugs!
But we bet Pugfest is going to be pretty awesome, too.

Corn dogs are yummy! I don't get to eat them often, but when I do, it's a good time.
Pug, there's whole breeds of dogs out there who have only eaten kibble their whole lives, so just be thankful that you're a people pug.
Who knows what tomorrow may bring. Today brings hotdogs and they need to be shared with all pugs involved.

Your facial expression show the pain, Pug. How horrible it must have been, waiting and waiting and never gettting a hot dog! I'm sure the corn dog will be worth the weight, and some pugs here seem to have great confidence in Tiffy's dad. I know you'll have to wait but I hope it is totally worth it!

Oh man! I hope you really get a corndog! We have them here in Dallas and well known at the State Fair for them and I'VE EATEN one...yes I have! They are better than hot dogs cuz you get a hot dog and extra stuff with it. I so hope you get one...you will love it! Gotta give it to ya tho, you sure look like a pro grilling!

Puglet can you tell us where you will be at Pugfest, or is it top secret? Our huMom is trying to decide if we should come or not. We think we should but, my brother totally freaks out in the car and my huMom is stressing about that. I am a total Princess, so I am never bad except when I eat paper and plants and well, we just won't talk about those things. Anyways our non furry sister and Ollie(bad car pug) and I are trying to convince our Mom we should go. She loves your blog so if we could guarantee that we could see you well... We may just have some treats to share.
