PIE DELAY

So. You might be wondering how I spent my Pie Day - the *worst* Pie Day in the history of Pugdom. Well, it went something like this...

First my human left me and Dutch at home for like EVER. When she finally came home, she had a can of white stuff and two tiny little tinfoil triangles. One for me, one for Dutch.

She took my picture with the triangles. And then said she felt sick. Mumbled something about stuffing. And then ran out of the room, made some gross hacking noises and went to bed. Yeah. To bed. WITHOUT feeding us white stuff OR our pie!

I was really not happy. And I stayed not happy... until my human crawled out of bed today and apologized for ruining Pie Day... filled up two plates with a giant pile of white stuff and pie... and wished me and Dutch a late, but happy Thanksgiving. She even let me eat my pie on the table.

Nom. Nom. Nom.

Hmmmm.

I guess a pie delay is better than no pie at all, so my Thanksgiving was pretty happy. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving too - full of white stuff and pie and love from your human!

Oh thank goodness you got your pie day! It should be against the law to have to wait for foodables!! Happy digesting you two.

Puglet, nothing makes a pug-person happier than seeing a happy pug happily chowing down!
Great photo, and I'm glad you finally got your pie (patience is a virtue--they say--tho it's not always easy to practice. Especially not for a pug)!
Audrey, the younger of my two tabbies, likes plain pure pumpkin licked off my finger. That was the extent of her Thanksgiving treats.

Pie Day! I love it. Today was BLACK PUG FRIDAY for me - my two grand-puggies spent the day with me and we had turkey. Noms.

Hope your human is feeling better. We only got a little piece of ham each as dad was cutting it up, then mom put it into a container and off they went for hours, hours & hours, GRRR. They had the nerve to come home w/nothing for us too. What rotten humans...mom said something about dad doesn't like to eat leftovers. Is he crazy or WHAT?

Puglet, there were stuffing problems here in Vermont, too. My humans got pretty sick and went to bed early without any special treats for me and the big dogs.

Hope your human is better!

Ok, I totally think all non-thumbed beings should get to eat their pie/turkey/ham/whatever *before* the humans start eating stuffing!

Frodo & Cleo -

I got M&Ms and the mommie person stayed home with me and Lola Belle all day!!! It was a GREAT DAY but then the daddy person came home from work and they went away for hours. We were sad without them but they gave us more M&Ms when they got home!! Overall it was a happy day!

Oh, I was bad and ate poop when the mommie let me out on the porch. Why doesn't she understand - if it looks like a tootsie roll it MUST BE a tootsie roll?!?!

Oh no!! Your poor mom was sick?? That's no fun for sure. I'm glad you got your pie today though. I did notice you've convinced your mom to give you more whip cream. Is the container empty? I know a certain black hermy pug that would love to help you empty that canister.

I'm sorry for your human being sick!!
I really wish I got some of that white stuff. I'm on a strict diet even though I'm skinnier than most pugs! Hey, I have a problem. I live in a world with no sound! I try to listen to what my humans say, but they're just mumbling. What's going on???

Oh no!! I'm sorry your human was sick!! That's the worst. I hope she's feeling better.

So, what's it like to eat pie AND whipped cream off a table?! I'm gonna make sure ALL my humans see this post. This could start some sort of pug revolution! Viva la Pug!!

Puglet, how do you manage to look so sad? Was that your acting skills or were you really feeling tragic?

I only got the whip cream not the pie! Lucky Pug & Dutch!!! Happy The Day After Pie Day!

Oh Pug, you don't know what you are missing with ham. Mom said it comes from the same animal we get bacon from - you know how GOOD bacon is, right? You have to try some!!

No acting here. That's 100% pure sadness. I mean, having to wait 24 hours for pie *is* tragic!

Ham? Bacon? What food group is THAT??

The pie was pumpkin. Google says pumpkins are healthy vegetables. High in fiber, low in fat. Not sure if that goes for pie because I think anything as tasty as pie has to be bad. But just don't tell your humans that part!

Viva la white stuff, Noodle!

Hiya Puglet!

My Human totally screwed up my blog schedule with Pie Day, so I was MIA for a few days, but MAN! was it *worth it*.

I got turkey, stuffing (I hacked a little like your human), pumpkin and ... wait for it .. my first taste of creamy stuff from a can. The can freaked me out though, so I ate it from a plate - pretty amazing.

Glad you had a fun howliday!

I'm so glad you got stuffed on Pie Day too (minus the hacking part).

They should put a warning label on those cans. You're not the only one who's been scarred - uhm, I mean scared, but the white stuff. I know a certain spotted someone who is *terrified* of the magical can!
