MORE ON TEXAS

I know Texas is a big state, but I'm pretty sure we drove around most of it yesterday checking out locations for this weekend's 1000 Pugs photoshoots. Luckily we had real live Texans showing us the way instead of Droid's stupid navigation lady (or my gimpy brained human) otherwise we'd probably be in Kansas by now.

Local Texan Dude and his pugs Kingston & Frankie didn't just keep us from ending up in Kansas, either. LTD is a dog photographer here in Dallas and he let me supermodel for his Nikon. He also also introduced me to the lady who owns Canine Cookie Company in a place called McKinney. Scored a BUNCH of tasty snacks there, even though my hum a says I'm looking beyond tubey these days.
More on both those things later.

My Texan buddy Kingston

In between the cookies and the super modeling, LTD took my human to buy a raincoat for Nikon. Good thing too because I guess a big storm is coming or something. This morning the sky got dark like it does at night, except it was like 9am. Then a bunch of wind came and it rained really hard. Like REALLY hard.

Freaky Texas sky

I seriously hope the weather starts behaving better before the photoshoots start. I mean, I don't want to be soaking wet when I greet everyone. So if anyone is accidentally doing a rain dance, please stop dancing. Now.

Wow, that was one fraky sky! I'm so glad you arrived safetly. It must be great having a guide, I bet it makes things easier. I don't think I'm doing a rain dance, but just in case I'll move around differently!

Hey Puglet,
The south Texas pug pack here the sun is shining bright at our house in San Antonio but the weather guy on tv said we will be getting tons of rain tonight..so with that said, hope you got your goo-loshes for your feet and you human keeps Nikon hi and dry.

When it rains in Texas it rains big!

One more thing in Grapevine make sure you check out the neat shops on the main street, not sure if they dog friendly but our mom said they are a *must see*.

Wish we were there *sigh*.

Glad to hear that you made it safely to Texas and are being shown the ropes by some locals. That sky does look ominous! Hope your human's hand is doing better today.

Sid.

Hi Puglet
Those are some MEAN clouds there in Texas. Looks kinda different from California, huh? I hope the weather clears and you have lots of fun in the Lonestar State.
Love Noodles
Oh, and tell me some more about those cookies. I am on treat restriction (yeah, looked tubey in that pix with you) so I need to enjoy treats vicariously.

My Grandpug is cruising through Oklahoma City headed your way and she says it has been cold, rainy and generally miserable the whole trip! Maybe she'll chase the bad stuff away, Puglet! I hope Hu-mom's hand is getting better.

The rain is supposed to ease up a bit. We're hoping it just goes away. And Monday is supposed to be sunny and 80 degrees! That's Texas weather for ya.

See you tomorrow. We're planning pug craziness at my house tonight.

Your tour guide sure is CUTE!

Don't say that too loud, Puglet. Texas needs rain. Really, really bad. We are going to to hope that the rain doesn't spoil your plans though and that it doesn't turn nasty for you.

Oh, Puglet. Tell your mom that she means "tubby" not "tubey". You are not a snake, nor are you a tire, so you can't be "tubey". Tubby.
