ABOUT CANADA

My human (and her thumbs and I guess Kim) just got home and are already abandoning me.
I guess she has a pug to shoot in some place called Philly or something? No idea. All I know is she better bring me back some sort of Philly eatable because I got NOTHING from Canada.

That's right. NOTHING.

I guess she tried to bring me Tim Horton but the customs or security or whoever said Tim wasn't allowed to cross the border. Not sure why she thought I'd want some Canadian dude anyway. I mean, we all know I just want some eatables.

Anyway. Since I don't have thumbs, here's what Driod says about Canada:

CANADA LOVES MOOSE

CANADA LOVES PUGS AS MUCH AS MOOSE
CANADA ALSO LOVES DONUTS
AND BAGELS!

BIG GIANT BAGELS (aka Twisters)
AND FLAT BAGELS (aka Flagels)
CANADA CAN BE COLD (and something called Metric)

CANADA GAS LOOKS CHEAP BUT ISN'T

Wow, Pug. That's a lot of bagels and donuts to be missing out on, but we bet your grand-human is treating pretty darn well.

We love having your Pug vibe on the Ea(s)t Coast!

According to my SousPug, your human needs to bring you back a Philly Cheesesteak - no onions (preferably from Jims - not Genos or Pats) and a Philly pretzel!

I'll say it again...what about all that Canadian Bacon they have in Canada...man, I would've voted for some of that!! Just hope you get something, anything eatable!

Hi Puglet,
Maybe your human will get you something extra tasty and special from Philly. Our mom is from Wilkes-Barre, PA and she said Philly has the best eatables ever...did you hear that best eatables ever. Philly Cheesteak with drippy cheese...oh yea !

Dear Puglet,

Our Mommy wanted to give yours some Canadian bacon to take back to you, but she was concerned that, unrefrigerated, it would spoil on the journey or violate some stupid Customs law.

We don't understand, though, why your Mom did not bring you back some Tim Horton's timbits, which are delicious pug-sized treats that can, however, make you even more tubey.

Your Mom was awesome, and we hope she comes back to the Great White North again soon.

Oh! Tim Horton's! Canadian maple doughnuts! Whenever I have friends come home from Canada they bring me Tim's coffee. As we speak I have 4 lbs. on the shelf. I don't share it with just anyone.

Pug, we agree with Aly (Cooking in Stilettos) - if you can't get a Jersey boardwalk cheese steak than your human MUST bring you a Philly cheese steak from Jim's and a Philly pretzel. If she doesn't bring you one or both of these, then I would not return home to SF with her. We think you should remain her in NJ with Gran-Hu- Mom and Cousin Sophie. Oh wait, you'll never see Dutch again. Never mind ..... still, dude, get a cheese steak

Hi Puglet,
Good to know about (aboot) Canada. Sorry you didn't get any eatables but in retrospect perhaps you don't really need them. If you are tubey, as your agent-of-thumbs says, then you risk getting any treats at all until the tubey-ness subsides. Think BIG PICTURE PUG.

Puglet you need to ask thumbs to bring you back a Philly cheesesteak. I used to live in Philly.

Hey Puglet
I'm coming to SF in February so I'll bring you some Canadian Bacon. It's not something that your human could bring to you easily (but I have my ways)

Hi Puglet!

First of all, welcome to Canada! My name is Roxy and I'm a 5 yr old pug who grew up in Montreal, but now lives in Ottawa. Ya...it's cold here. But Canada rocks!! Really! We have great healthy local food and lots of green dog parks with some wild trails! It's a great place to keep fit for us pugs, cuz..ya know...we grow an extra wrinkle a year :)

Ps. Next time you're in Canada, make sure to try a poutine and a nice cold local beer.

Cheers!
