MORE EAT COAST EATABLES

NNMMMMMMM
Even though NJ has the best jelly donuts on the planet, I didn't exactly get to eat one. I guess I don't like jelly, or at least that's what my human says. I think I like pretty much anything. But she asked the donut lady to give us something not-jelly so I didn't get any jelly.

But I did get cream.

Holy cowpies, cream donuts are ridiculously tasty. And they're like two eatables in one - three if you count the white stuff on the outside. I don't know what that white stuff is, but it's superyummy and totally messy.

I don't know about your human, but mine is not a fan of messes. One bite and my donut was gone. Yeah. G-O-N-E, gone.

G-O-N-E

I kinda freaked out when my human took my donut away after one bite. I mean, California doesn't have the planet's best donuts - New Jersey does. This could be my one and only chance to eat a cream donut. Besides, I'm so freaking tubey right now I might not even get carrots once we're home.

Luckily the donut-removal was temporary. My human gave it back to me a few minutes later out in the yard. She said I could make as much mess as I wanted there and I totally did. First I snarfed down the donut, then I went back for the cream. I even ate the paper thing the donut was wrapped in, it smelled so good.

DONUTS FROM SPACE

It all happened so fast, even Nikon couldn't catch any of the action. I suggested we get me a second donut so we could take better pictures. I even promised to eat it in slow motion, but my human didn't buy it. She says one donut is already one too many for a big fat pug. I say if one donut is never too many. Even if it's bigger than your head.

BEST DONUT ON THE PLANET

Pug,

We are so very jealous of your donut and pizza. Our only yummy treat is that sometimes we get a tiny bite of ice cream (and it is tiny). It is super tasty. Have you ever had ice cream?

Scarlet would like to have a meeting with you and your human, Pug. She said that all of this deliciousness that you get to enjoy is unfair, and she wants to know how she can convince me to let her have donuts and pizza. Now her Daddy is easy to convince, but me, not so much. And its not for lack of trying, she does put on a good show, but she's a little tubey too.

I bet that donut would have been even better wrapped in BACON!!!!

Big kisses on your powdery face ♥

Loving your eating adventures. We head to your neck of the woods (SF) on Friday. I hope my mom gets me some yummies while we're there.

Keep the food photos coming.

Oh Puglet,
you lead a charmed existence.
I have to eat donuts through you since I KNOW I will NEVER get a donut, World's Finest or otherwise.

Oh puglet, we just love you. You look like you're in total pug-ecstasy in that first picture. I want to smooch your powdery lil' pug face!!! Now don't tell my boys about the goodness of donuts cause if I bring donuts in the house, I will be the one getting tubey!!

Momma to Baxter & Cole...who thinks you don't look tubey at all. Love you sweet boy!

Dear Puglet -

Enjoy it while you can. My humans share their deliciousness with me but then they got the big frown of disappointment from the V-E-T who says I am "trending upward" in my weight. Mommy was asked whether I was ever fed from the table and she blamed it all on Daddy. She is so smart! But it still means less treats for me, unless Mommy isn't around and then Daddy spoils me extra.

Hope you get some cake to go with that donut soon.

Love, Balloons-the-Pug

I want a donut! I must have one now. I never thought I wanted one until seeing and reading this post. I wonder if I can somehow sweet talk my way into getting one. I must! I have to have one. Thanks Pug for all the details on the tasty donut!

Hi Pug!
This reminds me of when you ate half of my Mom's hamburger we were at The Love Shack in Dallas. Hehee, snort. You gobbled it down in one bite too.

Hugs,
Suki

P.S.
My man Arnie is vacationing at my house. We are having so much fun!

Puglet,

I've never had a donut before but it sure looks delicious. You're one lucky pug... donuts and pizza! Carrots will just never be the same. Enjoy your time with Sophie... did she get a donut too?

Puglet,
I heard my mom on the phone with your mom. They were talking about the donuts and bring some home. I'm sure they are for me! Right? Can't wait to eat one. Love Miley

Puglet! Love the East Coast Eatables! My human is from Jersey and would absolutely choose cream filling over jelly. She's bonkers about those Boston Cream Pie ones. I'd say your human chose the right way for you.

Anyway...she's a member of a pug meet up group here in Seattle and found an article about a Pug in Pleasanton, CA who is missing from her home after a break in. My human and I were wondering if you heard this story or thought it might help to spread the word to help.

Happy East Coast Eating :)

Fudge: check
Pizza: check
Donut: check
Cheese steak:

We’re telling you, Pug ….. you gotta try a cheese steak from the boardwalk before you leave NJ and go home. One tiny little taste will be worth having to eat carrots for the rest of your life

You are one ridiculously lucky puggy--donuts, fudge AND pizza! My niece pug, Olivia (a bay area fan of yours) adores all food, too, in good pug style, but she's never had those three goodies (as far as I know). Yum, pug. I'm impressed (and maybe jealous of the donut). :-)
