CONED (AND STONED)

I am not quite sure what has happened. I was on a plane. Off a plane. Another plane. A car. Strange house. I remember bagels. Tiny little bagels. I think Pug was there too, in the house with the tiny bagels.

Then bad things happened. Very bad things. The humans were all moving and talking so so fast.

Dutch?
DUTCH.
DUTCH!
WAKE UP!!

I wanted to go to sleep forever but they wouldn't let me. Two ladies in green suits carried me away. One poked me with needles. The other cut me in two and took my insides out. My stomach is naked now and has a zipper. I am pink underneath but my spots are black everywhere. One of the suit ladies said real men can wear pink and wrapped my leg in pinkness. How did she know?

How did she know??

I am back in the strange house again but my insides are not the same as before. Pug is here but he is strange too. I do not know if his insides are different. I would like to sleep but it hurts to lay down. When the cone is off I can sleep on my head. Sleeping on your head feels nice when your belly has a zipper.

My blanket has a plug and gives me warm hugs. I can tell it really loves me. But I love you more than all the Justins in the world. I told the blanket I am taken.

Time to sleep...

Pink hearts, yellow moons & blue diamonds,

- Dutch

Oh Dutch! So glad we got to hear from you today! You said some goofy stuff but we think you are on some drugs those Dr people give you to help make you feel all better. We just want you to get back to your normal self so the world can be all better again. SO GLAD you have so much pink around you, already a sign the world is getting back to where it should be. Lots of love to you Dutch!

Our mom is leaking with happiness, Dutchie. So glad you are back at the strange home with the sweet non-Puglet whose name is Sophie. We think we love you even more than ever.

Yours in pinkness,

Oh, Dutch! I am so very happy and thankful to see you and your beautiful spotted self here again today. You just rest, on your head if that is what's most comfortable, and let the humans take care of everything else.

Oh, Dutch, you look so handsome, cone, belly zipper and all. Who knew you were pink underneath your fur? I am so glad you are back in the strange house and that they didn't let you go to sleep forever!

P.S. That pug is not Pug. That pug is your cousin Sophie.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry you hurt, but there are pills to make the hurt go away and let you sleep. Each day will get a little better, and soon you will be yourself again.

Dutch,
You're on the road to recovery and doing it in your usual dapper style! How wonderful!!!!

I remember being coned and stoned, too. But I wore a crappy old grey t-shirt, not the elegant argyle sweater vest thingy you've got going on.

Our weekend is going to be all warm and fuzzy, knowing that you're on the mend.

Hiya Dutch!!!!! We're so VERY glad to SEE you and Amanda must be so happy that you are HOME!!! We know it's not YOUR home but it's a home and NOT the HOSPITAL!!!! Those blankets with plugs are GREAT!!! So are fleece blankets right out of the dryer. Our human spoils us rotten and puts the blankets in the dryer for a few minutes, takes them out, puts them on the couch and lets us get on or under them. Have your human do that for you if you don't have a blanket with a plug at home. A warm blanket might make your belly feel good enough to put it down so you can sleep normal and not with your butt in the air. Anyways we are SUPER HAPPY you are feeling better!!! We've been worried sick about you!!! We also LOVE your pink accessories :)

Hugs and Kisses,
Benny and Emi

Awww, Dutch. Your posts are making me leak. But it's SO good to see you awake and OK! Hang in there buddy. You'll feel a little better each day. Sleeping is the best thing for you. And when that zipper starts to itch, NO CHEWING OR SCRATCHING! No matter how bad it itches, OK? Love you to pieces! Hugs from Colorado.

My Dearest Stufmuffin Dutchy,
I love you so much and hope you feel better every day. You even make the cone of shame look sexy. I tried to sleep on my head last night, just like you. You make it look easy, but it sure isn't!

We are sending all the juju we can manufacture. Lots of people are working hard to get the dollars together to
pay the doctor people so thumbs doesn't have to worry about that. All thumbs should be doing is cuddling you and keeping warm and cozy. Thumbs friends, the

Lauries, are coordinating everything! They set up this thing on Facebook called "Emergency auction for Dutch". People are doing something called bidding on lots of cool stuff to get the dollars for the doctor people. Everyone should check it out!!!

I love you sweet boy, keep dreaming in pink technicolor ,

Dutch,
I feel ya, man. I got "stoned" this week too. Mom says the vet removed a quite large bladder stone from my insides yesterday. I don't remember much about it; except feeling really groovy in the car on the way home and peeing in Mom's lap.
Rock that pink, Dutch!
