THE OTHER OCEAN

I finally got to see the other ocean. It looks just like our ocean back home except maybe a little bit smaller.

I think I am ready to go back to my own coast now. Scary things keep happening here, first to me and now on the TV. I'm sure it would be much better if I could enjoy some Eat Coast yummies, but I'm not allowed anything but chicken and rice. Chicken and rice are the same everywhere.

Tomorrow I go back to the hospital to get my belly zipper taken out. If the vet lady says I'm OK to fly I'll get to go home on Monday with my human. If she says I'm not OK I will stay here with cousin Sophie for awhile longer. She is nicer than Pug and even likes pink, but she is not the same.

I never thought I would miss Pug, but I do. Just a little.

Please don't tell him I said that.

Oh, Dutch. This coast is always so much better when you are here. Can't wait til you are back. Good luck at the doctor tomorrow. Don't worry- zippers don't hurt when they come out. My human had a really big zipper in her head and said it didn't hurt at all coming out, but itches afterwards, so you'll probably get to keep wearing your pink sweater.

Aw, Dutch....even though you're not feeling so great, that's an awesome picture. I bet Pug misses you, no matter what you say about Sophie. Hope you're zipper is ready....and you can go back to the right coast!

Dutch! You look absolutely regal sitting there looking at the ocean. You're right about the scary stuff. The older we get the scarier the world gets. We've talked and agree no one has to tell Pug you missed him because he will be too busy denying that he missed you!! You know how macho he is, but he misses you I bet. There's only so much Frank humping a fella can take. Get well soon.

Dutch,
It looks like you're having a moment of pondering life's important questions like "Where am I?" and "Why are they feeding me only chicken & rice?".

Paws crossed for Monday's lift-off!

Dutchy,
You look handsome as ever in this picture! My human got leaky-eyed looking at this picture; she says it is beautiful. If the doctor person gives you the thumbs up to fly, I hope your human gives you some of the white, happy pills before the flight to relax you. We don't need you getting stressed and bloating again :(

I bet Puglet misses you and your human too (even tho he might not admit it!.

Let us know before you go on the big airplane so all of us send you power juju to have a safe flight.

Kisses, Kisses,
Mercy

P.S. Dutch, how is your human doing?? We all care about her too!

Oh Dutch .... doesn't sound like you're happy any more. You sound kinda home sick. No medication can cure that. You hang in there buddy.
You'll be back on the West Coast with Pug soon enough and everything that happened here on the Eat Coast will be just a foggy memory.
