RANDOMIZER

Thanks everybody for having a favorite Daisy picture! I think my extrasupercurly tail might have been #1, which is pretty cool if you think about it. I mean, who knew a tail could be so cute??

Anyway. As a thank you... and because this week it's thanks-giving... and just because I can... I'm going to pick one random pug/dog/cat/person to win a bag of Omega treats. My human bought a few different kinds at the store the other day, so whoever wins gets to pick from Salmon, Duck, Chicken and maybe Tuna (we can't seem to find where the Tuna ones went; I think Dutch might have eaten them).

I'm going to use this cool Randomizer thing to pick a winner from everyone who leaves a comment. You don't have to say anything special - you just have to say something so the Randomizer knows you were here. Don't ask me how it works, but my human says it's super fair and kinda scientific (?).

Details:

1) Randomizer will pick a winner based on the number of comments there are at the end of the day. Please leave only ONE comment so my human doesn't have to do any counting. Trust me, we don't want her to do any counting.

2) You don't have to say anything special in your comment, but if you're an anonymous commenter - please leave your name or at least some kind of alias so we know what to call you if you get picked.

3) Winner will be picked from all comments received by midnight here in San Francisco and posted tomorrow morning.

Telling me how cute I am in your comments would be nice, but won't make the Randomizer pick you because the Randomizer is 100% totally random.

PS: I will read everyone's comments (like I always do) but won't comment back so I don't throw off the Randomizer. I told you - very scientific.

Hiya Puglet,

Oooh boy, this is *right* up my alley. My human did tons and tons of food (!) research for me (the stupid grains in the "good" expensive food make my skin itch) and I am now on a salmon/herring high protein/low carb diet. Salon Omegas would be an awesome dessert!

Pick meeeeeeee, Mr. Randomizer!

Lotsa licks,

Hi Puglet,

My human lives her "needing to have a dog" dream through your daily blog. She smiles, laughs and shares your pug adventures with many of her friends and family.

We, as a couple of fantastic felines want to THANK YOU for your blog. Because without our human living her dream of dog ownership through you, there would be a panting, shedding, butt sniffing, eat everything (including kitty food)dog here with us!!!!

Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you, Dutch and your wonderful Human with Thumbs!

Hi Puglet. Here's my post from "OMEGA":

THANK YOU, PUGLET! My mom took me to Pet Smart to have my nails done and felt so guilty after watching me fight the groomer tooth and nail (no pun intended) that she went looking for a treat and found...OMEGA TREATS! She even got me the triple s: super stinky salmon. Those. Are. Good. I even lost 2 ounces from the time we weighed me on the way in to the time we weighed me on the way out. It was either the wrestling match or the Omega treats. HEY! If we could convince our moms that eating them made us LOSE weight...

Anonymous said...

Hi Puglet,
Mom said she was goig to PetSmart to get the Omega treats but she has that snotty nose thing going on like your mom did a few weeks ago so we haven't tried them yet.
Anyway.. from us three pugs to you and Dutch

Happy Thanksgiving

GOGGLE TIL YA WOBBLE !!!

PS: Nice tail!

Hey Pug! This is Percy Coco and I live in Louisiana.. We read your blog everyday (and Bellatrix's too) but never comment, my mom is always "too busy" she says.... tsk tsk tsk. But today when she seen we could win free treats I convinced her to comment. We just wanted to say we love reading about your adventures and we learn lots of cool stuff like how much us pugs love eating whip cream from cans. Thanks for giving my mom such a yummy idea, I am her first puggy and I am only 5 months old, is that too early to start on whip cream?

That's very nice of you Pug! My human passes the PetSmart every day on her way home from work, but she's never stopped to get me Omega Treats. (and I've been extra nice to my cat brother).

She is a bit mad at me though...I accidentally bit her nose when she was holding a Zuke treat hostage in exchange for a kiss. It was the stinky salmon flavor! I really couldn't help it.

Puglet! What a nice Thanksgiving present. You are so giving! I would love the treats because last night when my human wasn't looking, I knocked the popcorn dish off the table and went to town. Now my human is a little mad at me, so I could use the treats!

Dear Puglet,
My human has been a very bad human. She hasn't been to the store to purchase Omega treats for me to gobble up. I know all pugs are deserving of treats, so I promise to be happy for whoever wins, but I really, really hope the random picker picks me! :)

XOXO,

Thanks for the fun Puglet. Um... do you have any recommendations for losing weight? I heard my daddy tell my mommy that the vet said that I had to lose 2 pounds and I have to get weighed every month until I do. Apparently my uncle overfed me when my parents on holiday. Seems I gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks. Oops.

Mariah the mutt here... gotta admit, your post about poo made me laugh my head off, but mom just cringed... she knows I love me some random racoon, cat, etc. poo sometimes, she was just too busy at work to post a comment - but she said the bestest part of all were the commments, even she had to chuckle a bit over them. Happy Thanksgiving Puglet and Dutch, and wet slobbery houndog kisses to your human!

p.s. I do love food... you might say I'm even obssessed with food... and Mom calls carrots "treats" (she says cuz I'm so FAT) so you can see I'm desperate to win me something real for a change and not more of this carrot-treat crap!

tuna treats you say? my mom found some pretty good salmon ones called zukes but omg if treats come in tuna i have to have them! she yells at me cuz i try to chew thru her fingers to get the treat and supposedly that hurts but she should know to move her fingers out of the way faster, right? mom just laughs at me cuz when she makes tuna casserole i always dance around the kitchen cuz i want the tuna liquid from the can (sometimes it even has bits of the meat in it!)

Hiya Puglet! I'm hoping the Randomizer picks me! These treats would go to a very special dog, more specifically a pug named Otis. He's been feeling down lately and I know your treats would cheer him up!

PS Did you ever pick a winner for the Henrietta prize, a pug-sized version I believe, from the Gallery we did a while back? Just sayin', ya know.

Dear Puglet,

This is note out of desperation. Our pug, Sissy, got out of our yard today. Our neighbor was able to 'round up' our lab and other pug, Lila. But, Sissy, had other plans. She has never been more than a 'couch pug'...never roamed or darted out of our yard, but RAN away from our well-known, old friend neigbor.
We have hung our signs, called the vet hospitals and local "pound". Puglet, please pray or send positive vibes...whatever...that Sissy makes it home. Her humans are devistated. I am praying that she is safe and not hurt by the busy roads around our quiet neighborhood. She was "naked" and without her collar/tags when she got out...and so I am afraid someone may choose just to keep her. We are so sad. Please pray for Sissy of Redlands, CA. : (

Hi Puglet! We (Chewie and Penny) would love some new treats. Plus, we think we deserve something extra yummy since we've had pretty good attitudes putting up with this white stuff that falls from the sky and stays on our grass along with the frigid temperatures.

Dear Anonymous, I am really sorry that Sissy has run away! If you have a neighborhood book with phone numbers, call ALL the people in the book and tell them about Sissy and hope that they will tell their friends to look out for her too. If you have had her for a long time, chances will that she'll definitely come back!
I'll be hoping that Sissy comes back for you!
