HEY WHENCE

So, yesterday someone beat up Mazda. It happened right in front of our house. I don't know why because it wasn't like Mazda did anything to anyone. I mean, the little guy was just sitting there with all the other cars. Y'know, parked.

And get this - the person who did it just drove off. Yeah. Like nothing ever happened. Except something totally happened and there's no way on earth this person didn't know what they did.

No way.

Now, I know no one here would ever beat up on a poor, innocent car because everyone here is completely awesome. But if you beat up a car by mistake, I'm sure you'd all totally stop to make sure the car was ok. And then you'd leave a note or something, right?

Of course you would.

So this message is for the rest of the internet. And for the lady in the brown Toyota Camry with the plate thing that says 'WHENCE' on it:

Don't hit things and run away! Because even if some person sitting at a cafe doesn't see what you did and write a note for you... with all your info on it... you know that Karma thing? It will totally get you. Maybe not today, or tomorrow. But it will.

Busted!

DOUBLE SPECIALNESS
Woo hoo! Today we get to eat cookies for two. It's Myko's Whelp Day here in San Francisco and down in Dallas, Texas it's Snookie's Gotcha Day.

Happy days to both of you!

Puglet,
sorry to hear about the car. I hope the damage isn't too bad. Adventuring can be tough without the car.
Yea, that karma thing it's a ... well what coems around goes around. It was really great that somebody saw it happen and that somebody decided to leave a note in Whence's absence.

Life lesson #387: if you are going to be irresponsible and thoughtless, don't do it in a car with a really recognizable license plate! Pug, looks like Mazda had bad AND good car- ma in one day!

Anonymous said...

Puglet I hope your human reports this to the police, or at the very least her insurance! Because that could stop this from happening again.

WOW......some humans amaze me (and our human) Thank god for the person looking out for Mazda and karma WILL get "WHENCE".....

We are glad that you and Dutch and your human are OK and hopefully your car will get fixed soon so you don't miss out on any adventures.

If someone did that to our Mazda, my mom and dad would be so mad. Me too cause I love going for car rides. Glad someone saw the beating and did the right thing.
So glad to hear the good news about Chomper and Emmitt!
A special shout out to Myko and Snookie...can't wait to have a treat in their honor!

All I can say is...that really sucks!! I looked up "whence" in the dictionary. It means "a place or source from which someone or something springs."
I'd say Whence sprang from the brown Toyota right into Mazda.
Bad bad Whence!!

Poor Mazda! I hope the car vet can make everything better. I'm glad you, Dutch and your human are OK, though.

Ugh sometimes humans can suck...ya know? Before I entered my moms life and turned her life upside down (err filled it with sunshine and fat free cupcakes), her car would get beat up too. That SF isn't car friendly at all! At least you and your mom weren't in it, and that was very nice of the cafe person to get the information.
Hope it gets fixed soon...is your mom going to the police? I happen to know one can help ya *wink*

Grrr.... things like this make me SO mad!! I could just go poodle on someone!!
Poor Mazda! I hope it feels better soon.

Poor Mazda - people sure can suck.

My human thinks that the plate should spell 'WENCH'

Wondering if WHENCE had a little hit of some ETOH before side-swiping the poor old Mazda. Or, maybe WHENCE did not have a valid license or insurance. These are not justifications...but they seem so commonplace these days. Luckily, no humans or canines...that we know of...were physically hurt. Hope it all works out for you. Hang in there.

What the hey!? That totally sucks! Hope Mazda feels better!

P.S. Why would someone name their car "WHENCE"?

Geez! Some people! Last year someone hit my mom's car and left a fake note to appear like they were doing the right thing. Can you believe it?! I don't know what's worse. I'm glad someone caught the side-swiping Camry!! Hope Mazda gets fixed soon :)

Puglet,
This happened to my human years ago. Her driver side door was completely dented in. But the person who did it actually waited for my human to return and then they waited together for the police to come. So don't lose faith; there are the good ones out there that take responsibility for their mistakes.

The lady driving WHENCE is obviously not one of those. So, please make sure your human reports this to the police and her insurance company (I bet that crazy lady's car also has some damage on it). Don't let this crappy driver continue terrorizing vehicles and causing automobile carnage.

Happy Special Day to Myko and Snookie!

Hi Puglet,

It looks like even though there are some not so responsible people in the world, your human, and you and Dutch, got some great karma when that nice person in the cafe left you a note. How cool is that?!? Yep! Sooo Busted!
My mom says WHENCE needed to be taught a lesson about owning and accepting responsibility for mistakes; whatever that means. We're just happy everyone is okay.
Happy Whelp Day Myko!! Happy Gotcha Day Snookie.

Love ya'

Hi Puglet,
First Happy B-Days to Snookie and Myko enjoy your special day!

As for Mazda..that wasn't nice that someone cracked into her and drove off. WHENCE needs to pay for her crime.

Our mom's Rogue gets dinged all the time, Dad says it has a target painted on its side.

Happy B'day & Gotcha days to Myko & Snookie!!

So glad that someone left you a note. This happened to me many, many moons ago. The person hit my beautiful blue firebird & scratched up her whole side & broke the driver's side mirror and never left a note & no one saw (it was very late at night). Hopefully you can get that person's insurance to pay and not yours.

Hope Emmitt is feeling better. I missed yesterday's post about his surgery.

A FAKE note? Seriously? That is worse than just running off. Waaaaaay worse.

Hiya EEEs in San Antonio,

I think Mazda has a target too. This is the 3rd time someone has beaten it up! I've never been around when it happened, but if I was you *know* I'd totally go poodle.

WENCHES of the world beware!

THE PUGLET said...

Uhm, I meant WHENCE. But my human agrees with Molly. WENCH is right!

Puglet,

Our Sonata "Sunny" got hit in front of our house too, but unfortunately there was no kind coffee house person to tell our human who did it. But she is pretty sure who did, but can't prove it.

Anyways she took the car to the police station and filed a report and then called that really cute british Gecko and he fixed Sunny right up.

Our advice call the police and give that WHENCE the WHAT-FOR!!

This sux, but I believe there are many good humans in U.S. too. Go get the Whence person!!
I am glad to see my buddy Emmitt is back in action : > HBD to Snookie and Myko ~
Guess it's time to send good juju to Mazda then. Feel better, Mazda !!

Holy hot dog buns Puglet! That really sucks; but at least you and Dutch and your human are okay; plus your human has that note to go on so maybe something will come of it. I hope she reports it to the police! But either way, it's bad karma cookies for WHENCE...

:( I beated up someone car last Fridat:( more like touched it, because I drove slowly :( supermarket parking was full and supertight. There was no driver, so I've checked the car very carefully, then asked the man who just stood next to the "crime scene" to check it again with his "fresh eye". He said I had not done ANYTHING, plus he was supernice helping me to leave the parking without futher damage :) I don't mess with Karma :)

OMG I forgot about the most important:
HAPPY WHELP DAY Myko and HAPPY GOTCHA DAY Snookie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all for the "gotcha day" congratulations for Snookie, he was 8 when I adopted him and it's been 10 years now. 18 year old cat! He and the pugs got a spoonful of ice cream last for the celebration.
Really sucks about the Mazda but great that someone got the license plate. Puglet, you need to go "poodle" on them (in addition to your human filing charges against them).

Ernest Merriweather Picklebottom III said...

You're totally right, Puglet. Leaving a fake note is way worse! They went out of their way to be extra super lame. Grrrrr!

Have a great day Myko & Snookie!!

Btw, my momma totally forgot that the 25th was my "Gotcha Day"! I waited all day for cake or extra treats..and nothing! She said she thought it was tomorrow & promised that she'll make up for it then. Maybe next year I'll remind her a day before!
