SNOWY THOUGHTS

Thanks so much for setting me straight on the soft serve. I had NO idea it was ice cream. Why don't they just call it ice cream?

Anyway. Now I understand why my ice-cream-hating human didn't want to stand in line to get it. I do like the idea of ambushing a little human. Think I'm going to try that. If stealing the soft serve doesn't work, maybe I'll ask Bellatrix and her orbs to come beg for it with me.

Speaking of icy cold things, last night the weatherman said it might snow
here in San Francisco. Yup. Snow. Here!

I know if you have to live with snow all the time, the stuff kinda sucks. But when you live in a place that only gets snowed on like every five hundred years or something, it's pretty exciting. So I'm excited.

I don't want to wait another 500 years for a chance of snow, so asked Google if there's any thing I can do to make it happen. Apparently you can do a snow dance. Like these people:

Uhm. Yeah. I think I'll skip the dancing part. And the singing. Maybe if we all just think snowy thoughts, it'll happen?

Hi Pugle, I've also never tried a soft serve, not because my Human dosn't want to get me some (I don't have a Human, because I'm a Human :)), but because in Poland where I live, there's no such a thing like soft serve :( we have ice cream of course, but no soft serve, so as soon as you'll taste it please let me know how good it is :)
and I keep my fingers cross for your SF snow, but if there will be no snow this time, I can send you some from Poland togheter with -4F we had last night and today will be the same, no funny at all:( so warm kisses from cold Poznan

Wow, I can be sure of nightmares tonight from that video. Pretty funny though!

Da soft serve is pretty good. The stuff is as common as sand here in the South. Mom lets me have it when we go through Chick-fil-A drive through. They have the #1 best soft serve ever. You have proven that you can steal a cheeseburger from a homeless guy, so there should be no problem "sharing" with a kid. Good luck Pug!

Our human told us the last time it snowed in San Francisco was 35 years ago (she's old, was in high school)...yeesh, thats a lot in dog years. Hope you enjoy....cause it means a lot of it here! We are suppose to go the mountains for our Granny's birthday, hope we make it.

Puglet, our human grew up in San Jose so she knows snow is rare and exciting when it does finally come to the Bay Area.

We just received another 5 inches on Monday night here in Maryland and judging by what my human says "IT SUCKS!"

Something to do with her car never being clean and having to cancel soccer tryouts again.

Personally I don't really mind because I never set my pretty kitty paws outside in the stuff. It does look nice from my window perch though.

I hope you get just a little bit to enjoy, but not enough to make it suck!

Mack and I don't know ice cream or soft serve either. Hu-mom is a natzi when it comes to stuff we can and can't eat. She wants us to keep our "figures" and we aren't allowed to snack. (ha ha ha, we do though, Hu-grandmother is always slipping us something!)

Snow isn't all it's cracked up to be.
It's cold and wet...but you can turn it yellow!

Have fun,
Minnie and Mack

ummm... what just happened?

anyways, we get snow here all the time, and you know what? mommy is ALWAYS excited to see it in the forecast. she loves winter and loves snow. so i guess she's a real weirdo. or at least that's what everyone always says.

i like to eat snow, but it gets tiring when you have to pee in it (literally in it because it's deeper than i am!) all the time.

i hope you get some snow today!!!

I would love it if it snowed here and everyone acted like it was the end of the world and there was no possible way I could get to work so I'd stay home and get pug hugs all day.

Hey P. On one hand, my humans hate snow because they are cyclists and can't ride. On the other hand, one is a teacher and could use a snow day. I LOVE snow. I love the cold air that makes it easy to breathe and lets me run and run without getting all overheated. Plus, if there's enough snow we all stay home, which is THE BEST!
Big snow event predicted here in Portland for tonight!

Hey Puglet,

We live in Petaluma and we are REALLY hoping for snow too!!!!!! When our human has been driving to work this past week there has been a little snow on the Sonoma hills......SHe thought it was pretty cool. She's not sure how Bambi will handle it though and since she has an Agility trial this weekend it could make Bambi act all weird and stuff but da human says she acts weird already so I don't really see the problem.......

Maybe us Pugs should make up some kind of snow dance and see if that helps.....

Hey Mr. P-
It might snow where I live too- just over the gray bridge from your house! Tomorrow, I think I heard them say. Maybe we could get together and make a snow pug!
It's been awhile, so to catch up-
1. never had soft-serve. Tubey=no treats in my house.
2. I'm not scared of much, but lots of things are scared of me. Like, the rotty that lives on the other side of the fence. I bark at him, and I know he's shaking. When people walk their dogs or ride their bikes past my house, I always bark from inside the screen door- they walk right on by, never come into MY yard. And the mailman- when I see him coming, I bark REAL loud, and he always leaves right away.
I am scared of the cat, though. Sunshine may sound like a nice name, but she's NOT nice- kicks my arse all the time. I don't even look at her straight-on. I always look at her sideways- from the corners of my eyes.

There's supposed to be another crazy storm heading our way, and we just got two feet of snow! Must be all over the country.

Hi Puglet,

I have to admit I've never had soft serve as my human is allergic to it AND because I'm too tubby. Gracie has had it LOTS of times though (because she is sooooo skinny) and she LOVES it. If you do go just do what Gracie does. When standing in the long line....pull your human with ALL your might and cry REALLY loud. Trust me EVERYONE in line will pitty you and your human and let you go to the head of the line.

As far as snow goes my human thinks it is really pretty (but has had enough of it this winter). I of course LOVE it because I can eat ALL I want. We all hope you get some of the white stuff just so you can go out and play in it. If you do we hope your human feels well enough to take out Nikon (or even her phone) and get some pictures or videos of you and Dutch. They may prove to be priceless. Oh and Puglet just an FYI......wearing pajama's inside out and backwards is a sure way to make it snow....just saying.....

Wow Puglet. Daisy has never had soft serve, lactose intolerant. I give her a teeny tiny bit of cheese and she smells like a manure yard! Your human must know a lot about being skinny - she doesn't like chocolate and hates ice cream? That is why she loves you so much, you are better than chocolate and ice cream put together!

As for snow, well we have lots, still, and cold, lots, still. It is very boring after a while. At least the days are getting longer so more sunshine to sit in!

Puglet - you could just try rolling in the Soft Serve - it would be like snow but tastier, mmm...

My human sisters would wear their PJ's inside out - this is supposed to make it snow. Why don't you give it a try! Our 12/26 snow is almost all gone, we just have some very dirty mounds of it in the parking lots where they made HUGE piles of it almost 2 months ago. Its supposed to rain Friday, Mom is hoping it will all be gone for good!

We hope you do get some of your own to play in!

Dear Puglet,
We had a snowy run in Denver for awhile. Our huMAN even had to shovel a path for us to be able to go outside and use the "facilities". But over the past two weeks all the snow melted. On the first warm day after all the freezing and snowing, we went for a walk to a park a block away, and had to jump over a river to get there! Our paws were so muddy, we got it all over our other human. We think she looks really pretty covered in mud and pug hair! At least the river dried up, but we wouldn't mind a little more snow. It's fun to eat! We just don't want chilly arctic blasts like we had a few weeks ago... BRRR!

Love,
Coco (and Chili) the Pugs!
