OK. I know everyone is dying to know how my date with Twizzle went. And holy cowpies, she is so awesome (I smelled like pond scum and she liked it!). But you're going to have to wait until Monday to hear about it, because today I have waaaay more important stuff to talk about...The C-word.
Yeah. It's attacking one of us again. I got an email yesterday from a pug buddy named Chomper, asking if I could send some good juju her way. She had surgery yesterday to remove a lump on her leg. The vet said it's a mast cell tumor.
Mast cell = C-word.
The final C-word test results won't be back until Tuesday, so we have a few days to throw a whole bunch of good juju at it. If Chomper really does have the C-word, we want it to be the Grade 1, no chemo kind.

Best wishes to Chomper. Pablo and I know all about the scary C word. Pablo had a mast cell tumor removed from his chest two years ago. Thankfully, he didn't need chemo. He's been cancer free since. Hang in there, Chomper!

Oh Chomper buddy! I know exactly what you are going through! It's me Bouncer from Florida and I had a mast cell in November. I had to get my toe amputated, but puglet posted my story and good juju came my way and I didn't need chemo or radiation. Mine was a grade 2, but I had clear margins so I was cool.
My human feels for yours...mom says "breath" as hard as it is, breathe. Oh and give lots of kisses to chomper.

Thanks everyone :) I am getting my stitches out tomorrow!!
Coco-- the little bump i had looked like a little red pimple-- the size of a little green pea. It was on me for a couple months and never went away-- so my humans took me into the vet to have it checked out. Scary how a little red bump would give me 18 staples!! Hope no other doggies have to go through that!
