TRIP PART 2: Heaven +Hell

Whoever guessed we'd be spending our goodbye-to-summer adventure in Tahoe was right. Well, mostly right. Technically we're in a place called Truckee, but there's a lake and we're close to Tahoe and I think more of you have probably heard of Tahoe so we can pretend that's where we are.

If you ask me, this place is heaven. Lots of new smells and eatables (wild cat poo!). Green meadows to run through. Ginormous lakes to swim in. And it makes humans do really cool things. Like sleep in tents. I could totally live here.

But if you ask Dutch, this place is hell. It is full of dirt and bugs and it makes people like my human do really stupid things. Like sleep in a tent. And even though there are squirrels to chase and we got to eat bagels for breakfast and Pork Chomps for lunch and the water tastes better than what we have to drink at home, Dutch still thinks it is hell.

Poor Dutch. Having to sleep in a tent. I feel his pain. I'm glad you're having a good time, though!

Poor Dutch! Even though I love camping, I know what it feels like to have to do something you dont want to.

Puglet, you are sooo lucky to be at Tahoe! I haven't been there yet, but Momma says it is beautiful, and that the mountain air smells really good...let us know if looking for wild cat poo is dangerous or not and be safe!
Hope Dutch cheers up,
Eddie the Pug

What a cool vacation! I bet you are having a blast, Pug. I've just started swimming, but I need a life jacket to stay afloat. Aww, but poor Dutch! I'd give him an extra Pork Chomp for being such a good sport. Can't wait to hear more...
Love,
Payton

Wonderful photos and we are glad you landed up in such a beautiful place. Even if Dutch is sort of not too happy, pork chops and good water should do the trick eventually.

Wild cat poo? My human is not too excited because last time I copied your poo thing you know what happened... luckily, we do not have wild cats in Berlin, only foxes and wild boars. Should I try?

I hope Dutch cheers up - have super wonderful days in this heavenly place.

Hi Pug,

What a great adventure. I wish I was there swimming with you. Dutch looks like he's broken, did he implement Frank's technique of being broken?

You are spoiling us with posts on the weekend.

Hugs,
Suki

Sorry but that does NOT look fun at all. The bugs? The hard ground? Oh heck no!! Dutch can come stay with me next time you go camping. My idea of roughing it, is drinking tap water instead of filtered water.
I hope you're having fun Pug!

I'm jealous! I'm still cleaning up flood damage. And by cleaning up I mean sleeping on my bed by the fridge!

Taking the Pugs to Lake Tahoe in a couple of weeks. Any suggestions where pugs would be comfortable with good places to eat?
Thanks, Puglet

Puglet,
We don't care if it's Tahoe or Truckee we would rather be there then in sweltering HOT Texas. Texas = Hell no matter how you spell it.

Puglet, the pic of you in the water made us drool and everyone knows pugs don't drool !

Dutch.. get a grip guy you are on vaca with fun things to do...

Puglet,
New smells, green meadows and wild cat poo?!
I don't know how life could get any better than that!!
Poor Dutch, he seems to be a feather bed and room service kind of guy. I don't get it though. What's not to like about being covered in dirt and an abundance of bugs (or as I like to call them, snack tidbits).

Thank You Puglet and Co. When my girl reads this blog, she ALWAYS smiles, no matter if it's the worst day EVER. (which today seems to be) They should put links to this page on depression websites, because it's a guaranteed help!!!!
Love You Guys! from 2 girls and a pug in WV.
