LOVE AT POINT ISABEL

Even though we hiked with the cows before going to Pugnacious, on the way home we stopped at a place called Pt. Isabel to run around some more. My human said it had something to do with traffic, but I think it's really because we ate a bunch of Pugnacious snacks and she doesn't want me to get any fatter than I already am.

Whatever the reason, it was cool to sniff butts with dogs from the other side of the bridge. Especially since I've been thinking about finding a new girl to love. I mean, Jenny the Pug will always be The One, but she lives all the way in Oregon and we might never get a chance to actually meet.

Maybe it's time I start looking for, uh, The Two?

Pt Isabel seemed like a good place to find a geographically desirable girlfriend, so I put out the I'm-available vibe and waited. I didn't have to wait long though - those East Bay girls don't waste any time! Within minutes, I was being sniffed up by a nice Beagle named Taiko and a little white dog whose name I totally can't remember.

Taiko the Beagle was cool, and the little white dog was cute and all. But there just wasn't any spark or flame or whatever. It kinda made me a little sad, and that made me miss Jenny the Pug even more. Until I saw Gracie the bulldog...

Gracie is big and beefy and really, really hot. And not hot because she has a smooshface and the weather was warm. I mean she's hot like HOT. The kind of hot that makes sparks and flames happen. Which is exactly what, uh, happened.

For the record, I'm not one of those dogs who's big on humping. I like to hump my buddy Frank, but that's just a bromance thing. Except for him, I keep my humping to myself. But there's something about Gracie that just made me crazy. Even when my human told me to stop, I just couldn't stop.

If it weren't for the humping, I'd have more pictures of my beautiful, beefy Gracie. But my human said she didn't want to take those kind of pictures and put the camera away real quick. I guess it doesn't really matter though. I don't need her stupid pictures to remember a girl like Gracie.

Whoa! When I saw the 1st picture of the beagle I thought it was a coonhound just like my coonhound Daisy! I was intrigued right away by your post (because of the pug/coonhound romance potential) and I really, really hoped you'd find love with Taiko but I agree that Gracie is a HOT babe and you obviously felt the vibe with her! Very funny post!

Puglet... Gracie is a hottie and I bet she found you "memorable". Guess you got your exercise that day! Pt. Isabel looks like a great place to hang out. Let us East Bay Pugs know the next time you're going and we can meet up!

Hi Puglet! I'm so glad you've decided to look for love in all the right places. Unfortunately, Jenny is too wrapped up in the lives of her babies and her fans to have any time for you. Sad but true.

I've heard that East Bay girls are easy but maybe Gracie is different. Please play safe and don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Stubby xoxo

Well well well, had a good time did you? I hope you at least thanked her for the humps and got her digits. For the record we LOVE the bullies. Beefy goodness. Have a super fine neighbor bully named Deuce that looks very similar to your new girl. He doesn't give me the time of day :(
Sighs,
Kitty

you rock puglet. big beefy girls deserve all the love and attention just as much as those super slim greyhounds. i wish the human world was like that. not that i dont love my mom to bits, its just i'd like to have a dad too.

My mom wants a bulldog super bad, but her other half says NO WAY! Says pug snorts and snores keep him awake already, and he's not going to add drool to the mix. He's just cool enough to see the beefy sexiness of Miss Gracie.
You go, Pug!

Ugh - I didn't think to get Gracie's digits! I was so hump-crazy, I totally forgot about love and the possibility of a future together. DOH!

Hopefully I will see her beefy self again.

Hi Lola,

This is Dutch. Your human's other half is right about Bulldogs, they are super snorty and slimy. Just look at Gracie's giant slobbery tongue!

Ew.

Hey Puglet,

Hope you don't mind a kitty posting on your blog? My mom and I faithfully read your posts everyday and you crack us up!

My sister and I are stuck in the house 24/7 and we would love to be able to go on all your adventures with you, your human and Dutch. The only adventures we go on is to the VET- YUCK!

I just wanted to tell you that we used to live in Seattle and it is a super duper great place. Our human loved it there and your human must be up to something pretty special to spend four days there without you. Maybe you are going to go there on a surprize trip to visit Pike's Place Market or visit Lake Union?

Now we live in Maryland and it is HOT and HUMID - I can never get my fur just right....

Anyway, just wanted to tell you how lucky you are to get to visit parks, eat cowpies, go hiking and sniff butts! All I ever get to sniff is my sisters butt and it get old after awhile.

Yours in Fur!

Gabby

Puglet,
Phoebe and Kizzy's human here. I'm on a very serious phone call, but I'm reading these comments at the same time. I have to tell you that I'm having a hard time keeping it together. I'm laughing so hard that I'm afraid the person on the other end of the line will think I'm not paying attention. (I'm not) I am hard pressed not to throw back my head and laugh right out loud. This is hilariaous. I almost get disappointed that there aren't two or more posts a day. I look forward to hearing about your adventures each day. Thank you soooo much.

Phoebe and Kizzy agree that new butts are the spice of life and Gracie sounds like a winner.

Can't wait for tommorrow.
