So. Just when I thought my human would never believe in the Food = Love thing, something completely awesome happened. And that something was cupcakes.Yesterday was my human's special-day, so The Man got her a little pink box of tiny little cakes to celebrate getting old (because food = love!). Lucky for me, my human doesn't like chocolate so all the little cakes were totally eatable. Even luckier for me, The Man knew my human would have fun watching me eat a cupcake, so he got a few extras. And just when I thought I couldn't possibly get any luckier, I got luckier.
Three words: Bacon. Maple. Cupcake.
Yeah.
There was no way my human was going to eat anything with bacon in it, even if it was a cupcake. And Dutch can't reach the table, so this bacon-studded piece of love was all mine. It was gone in half a second, but I LOVED every half second of it.
For the record, I was totally right. Food = love. Especially food with bacon in it.
PS: I know I've been talking about food A LOT lately, but my human promises we'll start having adventures again soon.

I read your blog on a daily basis and when and if my human's laptop is unattened. This does not happen very often! Now there is my chance!
I am writing to you from Berlin/Germany just to let you know that the pug community here is large and merry.
My name is Carlos Santana and I am nearly 2 years old. I am also a gifted writer just like you, but I do my column in German. For recreational purposes I write in English sometimes but nobody really knows about it.
Well, my topics are besides food (what else is new?) politics, and in general daily life in my very interesting Berlin district.
But I have never had a cupcake yet! My favorites are bio sausages but I do not see them too often - yes,"she" is a vegetarian, which incidentially leads to the fact that there is too much green food around me. She makes me go to the Turkish market twice a week where we get all this totally unnecessary stuff. My opinion does not count a lot, as one can see.
I have lots of pug friends all over Germany as we are members in a pug forum. We take holidays together and have regular huge pug meetings.
Well- time over, she wants her laptop back.

Why you dont make a book? "The Daily Puglet - Diary" something like that. And I believe that all lovers of pug and lovers of you(like me) will buy your book! at all with this beautifull images of you and Dutch...I believe that will be a book for all ages! For example, I go to Amazon.com to buy your book!! and I will buy for my friends (a gift). I can imagine your book with that pages with that quality...your pictures with this historys...
My mom had the book about cats-Deway - The cat between books (The name is correct?)(I have 6 brother cats!and also books about dogs, but never I saw a book with a diary (or daily)(sorry my english)talking about a diary of a dog like you! and you can make a book for each year of your life and I can imagine the editions and the persons waiting for the next book anxiously!!!!(like us, waiting for the new day to read you!).And who dont want sooo beautiful book about a dog like you??? Who dont want to see yourself on a mirror like you??(all pugs!!)
I say this because me and my mom loves you soo much!! you are sooo "fofo", "fofinho" "lindo"...dont know the tradution but in portuguese is the best for a beautiful dog!
My mom made cupcakes for me with bacon on top!(for me and some friends of the street) (I eat only one because I am a litlle fat...)and I loved and my eyes was like your eyes in your picture.

This is Phoebe in Oregon. I simply drooled when I saw your picture with that cupcake and then you said it was made with bacon. OMD!!! I have three pug sisters and I'm the only tubey one in the family. Mom doesn't want to play favorites, so because of me no one gets bacon :-( I'll have to enjoy bacon through your desciptions.
