IT'S A TREE! WITH BACON ON IT!

Yesterday was one of the best days of my whole entire life. First my human took me on the most ridiculously awesome adventure ever (I'll tell you about that Monday.. and probably Tuesday too). Then when we came home, there was a box at our door. And not a mysterious amazon box either... a FRAGILE LIVE PLANT box.

With my name on it!

Uh huh. My friends Noodle and Mochi knew my human was never going to get me a tree, so they got one for me. And I guess Dutch too. It's pug-sized and perfect and my human loves that it smells without having to burn a candle.

I won't lie. I was kinda disappointed when we opened the box and my tree was naked, as in NO eatables. But my human explained that's how trees work: they come naked, then you decorate them with stuff.

Some people put lights and ornaments on their trees. Some people spray them with white something in a can that looks like snow. But this is a pug tree and pugs don't care about ornaments or fake snow. At least I don't.

Give me cookies! Give me bacon! It's Christmas. Give me something I can eat. My human must have been in a really good mood or something because she totally agreed with me. Five minutes later, our naked tree was decorated with bacon and biscuits.

Yup. We don't just finally have a tree. We have the cutest pug tree on earth... with bacon and biscuits on it.

It only took about 2 minutes for our tree to be naked again. First I ate all the bacon, then I went back for the biscuits. I'm really hoping the eatables will grow back, just like on a wild tree. Dutch says this will never happen, but isn't Christmas the time for miracles or something?

I mean, it could happen. Right?

Thank you Noodle + Mochi for my tree and for saving Christmas!!!

What a great tree. And I think if you wish hard enough, and believe, your tree will keep growing biscuits and bacon.

Your eyes in that second pic are the best! Noodle and Mochi are super awesome friends for sure. Were those treats from his Grandmaw? 'cause those are amaze balls! I am glad you got your tree finally, you never know what the fat man in the red suit will bring you. So far he brought me a bed to share with Dutch

We want one of those trees!!! Our humans put up a tree but then they put up a baby gate (we're NOT babies)! We know there are present under there for us - we could smell them! I guess that is why they put up the baby gate!?! Love Zoe, Peyton, Webster and Liberty

I"m impressed. Mom has an ornament made out of dough on the tree, but I have been threatened with my pugbutt and am NOT allowed to eat it. Big BOO. Maybe I can tell Santa Claws I want a tree like yours.

Woweewow Puglet! That is a really awesome tree. I've been wanting to get a tree at my house, but I'm worried that Benny the Cat will play with it and/or try to eat it. Maybe a pug-sized tree that I could put up high would be good. Or we could stick some treats on his scratching post and pretend that is a tree instead.
Enjoy your bacon!

Yay!! We're so glad you like the pug tree!! We couldn't risk you not having one and we were afraid you'd get one before it arrived, but we wanted to surprise you!! It worked!!! *happy twirls*

Merry Christmas Pug, Dutch, and your human!!! And, thank you for all that you do here on the DP and beyond!!

Noodles + Mochi, you are the best. You made everyone smile today to see Puglet posing so happily with the pug size tree.

Wow, how cool is that! We can't have a tree because of the CATS who climb everywhere. My mom stashed a bag of goodies in the room we are not allowed in, but it's not the same as a tree. And I do believe that the bacon will grow back. Maybe on Christmas Eve. And if that tree can be planted outside...wow, the possibilities!

Wow that is so cool of Noodles & Mochi to send you a tree!!! Looks like you can plant it outside after you are done using it inside. My humans' tree is plastic, YIKES :O, but Mom did hang up these funny looking socks she calls stockings that have our names on it. Last year there were toys and treats inside!! Do you guys have stockings with your names on them?

Wowee Puglet! That looks like the best tree ever! You're so lucky to have Noodles and Mochi as friends (and we're so lucky they are your friends cause we get to see you and your tree!). I'm pretty sure when you wake up Christmas morning that the bacon will have grown back--it'll be a Christmas miracle!

Pee-S, I hope there were no trees harmed in the eating of Bacon...

Hey Everybody!

Isn't my tree awesome? I think everyone should have eatables on their trees. Especially pugs.

If your human doesn't agree, let them know my human said tying the eatables to my tree was the most relaxing 5 minutes she's had in weeks.... watching me trying to pick my eatables was the most fun 2 minutes :)

Opaka said...

Oh Puglet, I'm so super jealous of your tree. Our humans got it so wrong. First the tree isn't real, it's definitely much bigger than pug size and there are no edibles on it!

I'm working on the edible though, telling them it'll be fun watching us eat!

What a great idea! Good for you, Puglet, and Dutch too. I get yelled at if I nibble on our Christmas tree.

Puglet,
That was the cutest post ever. I'm going to try to talk my mom into putting eatable decorations on our pug-sized tree. She probably won't go for the bacon, but I can totally see her putting biscuits on it. Thank you for sharing that with us.

Hi Pug!
Holy cow pies! A real life pug tree! Noodle & Mochi are awesome!

Are you going to sleep under the tree to see if the edible ornaments & bacon grow back?

Hugs,
Suki

Fantastic tree, Puglet! How nice of your friends to make sure you got a pug tree (and the foodables your mom tied on were even better, if short lived).

YESS! That is the best idea EVER!! And I mean EVER! I wish that we had one, but I am SUPER glad that your Christmas is a Merry one thanks to Noodle and Mochi! :)

Maybe next year, if we are extra good, our human will get us our very own pug tree full of bacon and snacks!

YAY for Christmas!
