GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS

So, the good news is Frank is back. And that's SUPERGOOD news because we all know he's way more fun than Dutch. The bad news is he's here because my human is working on more Top Secret Stuff today and apparently Frank is practically the star of it.

You heard me. Frank is practically the star.

I tried to get some info out of him last night when we were face wrestling, but he pulled a Dutch and claimed to know nothing. Well, practically nothing. He did say they got to eat watermelon last time. But that's all he remembers.

Frank did help me do some recon by distracting my human so I could snoop around HAL4. There's a LOT of stuff in HAL4's brain and I still haven't found where all the clues live. I definitely didn't find any TSS pictures of me, but I did find one of Dutch eating watermelon and looking very VERY happy about it.

According to my human's calendar, today might be the last day of making the TSS. Which means this could me my last day to kill Frank and Dutch off and become the star. OK, maybe not really kill them off - but you know what I mean.

** if anyone has any ideas, PLEASE let me know**

If/when I find out more, you'll know what I know. Until then, I have a semi-favor to ask. I heard my human talking to a pug rescue person about dog names (it was after she named everyone at the beach party by harness color) and I guess it's not easy to come up with cool names for all the needy pugs who come into rescue. My human clearly isn't the best dog-namer on the planet but everyone here is pretty genius, so I figured you could help come up with a list.

Pug rescue has saved a lot of pugs over the years, so try to make your names special. Y'know, so we don't end up with lots of pugs named, uh, Pug.

Hi Puglet,
My human says we should have named Chili "Rodeo" instead, because he spins around when he gets excited. I don't really know what this means, but she says he reminds her of the bucking broncs and bulls at the rodeo. And she said once that if Chili had been a girl, they would have named him "Violet".

We can't wait to find out what the TSS is, and we especially can't wait to see all the pictures. Don't worry, as much as we love Frank and Dutch, you'll always be the ultimate superstar in our eyes!

XOXO,
Coco

PS - I just overheard my humans talking and I'm going to be racing in some weiner dog races this weekend at Oktoberfest. I know I'm not a weiner dog, but apparently they are having a pug rescue fundraiser so some pugs get to race. I'm normally really fast, but have been taking it pretty easy all summer. Wish me luck in the races!

Hi, Puglet. My name is Socrates (and I'm a pug living in Brooklyn.) My mom named me Socrates because she thought I looked like him, and wanted me to become a wise pug. (Hehehe...mom's can always hope, right?)

Geek names like Aristotle or Plato are very distinguished, don't you think?

Wow! That's a lot of good pug names already mentioned. My parents were thinking of naming me Penelope with the nickname Penny, and if they got a boy pug, they said he'd be called Walter with the nickname Wally.
You know Pug, it's just a travesty that you are not the star of the TSS. It really should be a crime. I wonder if you could call the authorities on your human? But I guess on the bright side, you get to chill with Frank, and he is super cute and fun. And Dutch got yummy watermelon. And the TSS is almost over, so I guess we'll get to see the finished product soon! But if you get anything else out of Frank, be sure to let us know...maybe he'll slip up and say something during another round of bitey-mouth.
Love,
Payton

Whatever you do, don't name a pug Dave! Everyone thinks its cute until someone thinks I'm trying to order their kid around, or Dave gets lost at the beach and everyone thinks I'm looking for a human kid, or someone yells at their friend Dave from across the street and Dave runs up to them. Common human names for very friendly dogs=bad combo. I'm NEVER. DOING. IT. AGAIN!

I came with my name when my parents got me but they added the Brown because I am brown. Anyways they keep saying we are going to get more pugs and puggles because they already have names picked out. Dad wants to get a fawn pug and a black pug and name them salt and pepper. They also want to get a girl black puggle and name her Betty. My little brother has a life size stuffed pug named Boris who was almost named Oswald. So those are our ideas!

PS I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE bacon!!!!
