RANDOMZERS SAYS... HONK!

There were 92 comments at midnight Casa de Puglet time and The Randomizer randomly decided comment #48 should be the winner of the Awkward Family Pet Photos giveaway. So congratulations Grumpy, Chunky, Barney and Bella in Plantation Florida!

Please email us your address so we know where to send your new book: dailypuglet-at-gmail.com
So, normally this is where I'd pose with the winning thing before handing it over to the PO people. But my human says I'm not allowed to go anywhere near the boo
k because of the honking. Something about not wanting to spread my germs around.

We've been on lockdown since my honking started
because of the whole germ-spreading thing (no friends, no dog park, no fun) and I totally didn't get why until Dutch started honking too.

I guess my germs became his germs
because that's how germs work, so now he's sick like me. Except Dutch's honk is more of an Eh Eh Eh instead of a HONK HONK HONK. Seriously, if a cough could be a color mine would be black with skull + crossbones and his would be pink.

Whimpy whimpy whimpy!

Dutch's honk vomit totally kills what's coming out of me though. My vomit pools are the size of my feet, but Dutch's are almost as big as my human's size 10 hideous pink crocs.

Little honk vomit.

Big honk vomit.

Yeah, I know that's gross. But my human says everyone should see what this stuff looks like so they won't panic and think their dog ate a wood chip (or a fork) if their dog starts honking it up.

I'm feeling a lot better after my trip to the Pug Guru at Bishop Ranch, so now it's Dutch's turn. Except Dutch isn't a pug and we don't live anywhere near The Ranch, so he'll go to a vet here in the city. My human really doesn't love our vet at all and wants to try a new one out on Dutch. If anyone loves a vet in SF, please let us know like ASAP.

Oh, and if anyone has any spare juju lying around, Dutch could use some. The honking isn't serious or anything but you know, he's kinda... sensitive.

Congratulations Grupy, Chucky, Barney and Bella!
Sad to hear that ducth has not got your germs. I've been told that chicken soup is just the thing to make you feel better when you are honking. I bet Golden Chicken would even be better. Maybe Ducth will be able to convince your human to pick some up for the both of you on her way back from the SF vet.

Sabrina

Hi Puglet,
All three of us just went thru the honkie. Mom said it's safe to send you and Dutch JUJUs. She said that we won't be sending you our germs this way.

Sorry you guys are honking! Hey, that stuff looks a lot better than the yellow stuff Miss Chelu the prissy poodle girl hacks up. It's super yellow and gooey; my mom totally thought she was dying the first time she saw it!

Me, knock on wood, I never honk and I never throw up *waste food...no way*

So lots of good juju to you two; feel better soon!

Hi Pug,

I hope you and Dutch get better soon! In the meantime, maybe this will help. I walked by the big Macy's this morning and saw that Louis Vuitton, a fancy brand of human luggage and clothes, has PUGS in their fall campaign! Here is a link to one of the pictures. http://akashasillusion.blogspot.com/2011/10/pug-in-louis-vuitton-ad.html
Pugs are famous all over!

Aw Dutch, I sure hope you feel better soon. I am sure someone will point you in the direction of an awesome vet. Loving your vet is a wonderful thing. And when they love you, nothing better!

Hey Puglet! Glad you are feeling better...major juju coming Dutch's way! My mom says that Dutch is too refined to Honk and that his sensitiveness makes him so endearing!

Hi Pug - I'm a big fan of Dr. Adam at Healthy Pets hospital in West Portal. He helped me get better recently when I was very, very sick. He was very thorough and thoughtful and had a good way of explaining things to my human, even when she was too upset to properly listen to him. He also has a very positive attitude, which we found helpful

Get Well Soon Dutch! We're sending big, serious puggle juju your way for a speedy recovery.

Congrats to Grumpy, Chunky, Barney and Bella on your randomizer win!

We couldn't participate because Mom got bacon grease splattered in her face and in both eyes on Friday and she had to stay in bed with gauze over them for 2 whole days - that's like 500 hours and we couldn't use her thumbs. Our Aunt Alison is lending us her thumbs today. So, give a shout out for our hu-mom, Rose but she said not to send juju so as to divert any away from Gracie and Emi and of course, handsome Dutch.

Puglet,
Oh, no...not the handsome and sophisticated European, too! I bet the Dutchman is elegant even when hacking up a jumbo gob of a cough. We're sending him (and you) a big batch of supercharged pink juju.
Congrats to Grumpy, Chunky, Barney & Bella! Just don't let your human find any inspiration in the book. You don't want to be next year's cover.
And since there's plenty of juju to go around, we're sending healing juju to the Jersey Shore Puggles human, Rose, even though she said not to.

Dutch, hope you are on the mend already. Pug is sooo generous, he gave you his honk! Thanks for sharing the graphic details.

Hi Pug,
It sucks to be sick and stuck at home. I was thinking about you and Dutch all weekend. I'm going with Sabrina from PugTails that some Golden Chicken would be just the thing to make everything better! I will say more prayers for you both today.

ATTN DAILY PUGLET FRIENDS and FOLLOWERS: With all of your help and support, we changed the c-word into the b-word! Yep, my test results came back a little bit early and I'm cancer free!! Thanks to Pug for broadcasting my SOS and for all of you that took the time to send juju, positive thoughts, and prayers. They made all the difference, I just know it! You all are truly the best!!

Love,
Payton

Jasper, Sarge, and Pepper said...

Yay, Payton, that is very good news! That will cheer up Dutch and Puglet so they won't feel so bad about the honking!

Sue and Annie said...

Oh Payton, what glorious news. Thank you St. Francis for listening to prayers for Payton.

My mom received a miracle of her own today. After 14 years not being able to read the eye chart with her left eye, today she read 4 lines of it!!!! Amazing!!! She's been thanking St. Lucy all day for her intervention.

Hiya Misiober ~

Dutch says huge thanks for the extrabig Polish juju. He just got back from the vet and should be de-honked soon.

How awesome you got to kayak. I've never been but Suki in Texas & my cousin Sophie on the east coast have and it looks really fun. I really want to try it some day (as long as I don't have to wear one of those girly pink vesty things).

THE PUGLET said...

Oh Sabrina we love you. I smell a golden something in the kitchen!!!

THE PUGLET said...

HI Maggie~

Yeah, sorry about the honk vomit. My human tried to get video of the actual honking but it didn't come out. So just be on the lookout for anything that comes out of you that looks like eggwhites.

THE PUGLET said...

Thanks MizzTree!

THE PUGLET said...

Hia 3Ms!

Thanks for the juju and for not sending germs along with it. I think we have enough germs here already :/

THE PUGLET said...

Hey Guy ~

Please don't tell the humans because it will totally gross them out, but I tried to eat the honk vomit. I would have too, if my human hadn't shouted at me.

THE PUGLET said...

Radomizer says: You're totally welcome Grumpy Chunky Barney and Bella!

THE PUGLET said...

Oh, DMBY we saw a LV pug in Union Square too - near the House of Jobs. I don't know why they didn't call me to pose in the stupid ad. That pug is cute and everything, but he isn't Jimmying or anything!

THE PUGLET said...

Hi Wilma,

I'll let Dutch tell everyone about his vet rip but my human really likes the lady they saw today. +1 for good vets.

THE PUGLET said...

HI Mishka ~

Ooooh. My human almost went to Healthy Pets today but they didn't have an appointment and she didn't want Dutch to keep honking. I guess they went to the fancy new SPCA instead because they're super close. We'll remember HP for next time because my human really wants

1) a smaller hospital

and

2) a vet who is very thorough and thoughtful and has a good way of explaining things to humans, even when they're too upset to properly listen :)

THE PUGLET said...

Hey JSPs (+ awesome aunt Alison)!

Holy spam! I can't believe your human got attacked by bacon. I really really really hope her and her eyes are doing better now. Maybe it would help if you gave her bacony eyes some lick therapy?? I bet she would love that ;)

THE PUGLET said...

Ollie, you're the best :)

THE PUGLET said...

Hiya Ann, Fro, Molly & Cleo!

Don't worry, you didn't miss much. Just a bunch of vomit and honking. I hope The Cough that's going around doesn't make it to your coast!

THE PUGLET said...

YAY PAYTON!!!!

Go juju!

Oh Payton!
Our humans eyes got all leaky when you shared your awesome news! The "C" word sucks - just as my right foot with 3 toes!
Glad you found a vet to stop the house of HONK! Your poor human must just want one night of sleep.
We are sniffly here too, but thankfully no honking - but...mommy is honking. Not good!
Yay for all the ju ju power!

Congratulations Grumpy, Chunky, Barney, and Bella!! How cool!!

Awesome news, Payton!! We're so relieved!!

Sending juju to Dutch!! We sure hope he feels better soon.

(Hey, Pug, I woulda tried to eat it too. Just sayin'.)

Hiya Puglet!!! There is so much going on and I don't know where to start. First a BIG batch of juju is on it's way to Dutch. Second ALL of us are glad you are feeling better. We are THRILLED to hear about Payton's "b" results. Juju REALLY works wonders!!!

Congratulations to Grumpy, Chunky, Barney and Bella on winning the book. I'm so glad I didn't win it as my human might have discovered a lot more ways to humiliate me. She has enough of her own ideas.

Now some really BIG news. Emi is comig to live with US!!!! I know my human is SUPER excited and can't wait for Thursday to get here. I'm a little worried I won't be #1 any more. I know YOU understand how I feel with this whole 1,000 Pugs project going on. Anyway. Emi's foster mommy has been sending video's of her and today we got two super exciting one's. It looks like Emi LOVES to face wrestle. Since I LOVE to face wrestle and just plain wrestle it looks like we are going to have FUN, FUN, FUN!!!! My human has to leave me home when she gets her. You know the whole I'm too fat to fly thing. Anyways. She was REALLY hoping to meet you and Dutch but since you are sick that isn't going to happen. She bought you a bag of BACON treats Pug. A WHOLE bag for you to share with Dutch. There is only one teeny, tiny problem. I ate them. ALL of them. YUP, ALL of them. One ENTIRE bag. My human completely forgot they were in the bag by the door with some stuff she bought for Emi yesterday. So when she was at work I found them, ripped open the bag and ate EVERY. LAST. ONE. SORRY Pug but they sure were good!!! My human wasn't mad at me. How could she be. Her mistake. What does she ecpect?? After all I am a PUG!!!! She said she will post the videos on Youtube later (peggy2957). I'm stinking up the place and she needs to take me out. Bacon treats + Benny = STINKY gas and BIG, no GIANT POOPS!!!! Sorry again about eating the treat's Pug.

Benny

Sending juju to both Pug and Dutch!!

Benny, I am so happy Emi has a forever home. You sound like you will be a good brother. Not to worry, your mom will not love you less. I promise.

Benny, the same goes on at my house. ANY food not secure is fair game. Heck, even paper towels left out are fair game. Makes my mom mad at herself.
