WANTED: NEW HUMAN

'Polaroid Jimmy' by Jeff Ballinger

I'm kinda starting to think I need a new human. Because I'm starting to wonder if mine loves me anymore. We haven't hiked with the cows or done anything fun in I don't know how long, she barely ever lets me play with Nikon, and she missed TWO entire days of Daily Puglet in the last week. That only ever happens is when she's sick and she is totally not sick.

She didn't even do the thing where she puts film into some old camera and takes 36 special pictures on the last day of the year. At least one of the special pictures is of me and pictures mean cookies. But no. Instead, I had to hey-mister some photographer dude with a really old special camera that spit out pictures. He didn't give me any cookies, but at least *he* loved me enough to take my picture.

If I had two or even three humans, it wouldn't be so bad. But I only have one. I guess I have Dutch, but Dutch isn't really the same as a human. He'd never take my picture and tell me I'm perfect or give me cookies and rub my belly. Only a human can do that kind of stuff.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Y'know, where your human stops loving you? I don't really want a new human - but is there anything I can do to get mine back? I'm kinda sad and really miss her.

This happens to me to when my mom gets busy with house chores. And Pug, just think about all of our friends that have humans that work outside of the home. I bet they feel lonely during that time too. Don't worry though, we know your human loves you so much! It's evident from everything here on the DP and all she's doing with 1k Pugs. And we love you too!
Love,
Payton

Well if this post doesn't work Puglet, I don't know what will. This made us sad! And you look sad in this picture. Sigh...

But Sarah & Payton are totally right, all the hard work she's doing for the 1K Pugs is proof of how much she loves you ~ without you and your awesomeness, there wouldn't be 1K Pugs working to get every puggy a loving home like you have. Hang in there cutie!

We Love You ♥♥♥

Poor Puglet we totally understand you!!! Our mommy has 3 of us, but we would like to be the only ones, not one of three :( she cannot do belly rubs, and all other things to 3 of us at the same time :( She leaves us for 8!!! hours every day Monday to Friday :( but hey try to do what we do, instead of be sad when your Human is busy or gone, try to enjoy the time when she is with you and Dutch :) we are sure your "old" Human and old fun will come back soon :) hugs our friend ! Oh Pug! :(

I think this is one of those moments when my grandmaw would say, "This too shall pass." Though I know patience isn't one of our virtues, try to find some. This is a really busy time for your human and humans have a tendency to get busy. Mine do. Often. This doesn't bother me too much (as long as no meals are missed!) because I'm just as happy to take a nap. My sister Mochi, on the otherhand, can't stand NOT being the center of attention! Must be because she's young. Oh well, she'll learn....

Oh Puglet, you seem so sad. Like others have said, our human is at work all day Monday thru Friday, and we are left to our own..sleep, sleep, sit in the sun, sleep. Its tough, but we manage. Think of all the joy she is helping to bring, and thank her, because without her thumbs, we wouldn't be able to read this blog

When I do something bad, like eat sand, mom turns to dad and says "she's your pug". Then dad says I am only his when I am being adorable, which is always. Let me suggest adopted 'rents. Your mom can get a break and you get a new set of 'rents who spoil you rotten. Now I am going to make an offer, and I only do do cause you have the best back fat like ever! You may share my mom. She takes me out on her days off, so you can totally come with us. Plus she loves to shop! If your mom needs a break, have her call my mom, we can totally hang out!

Puglet! I'm so sad for you. But you totally have to realize that the reason she started the project with the other 999 pugs is that she loves YOU and wants the world to realize how completely awesome pugs are! Plus to help a whole lot of pugs that need new pawrents. We totally sympathize with missing Mom. Our Mom works 16 hour shifts every other day for two stretches a month to enjoy more time with us. But boy howdy do we miss her when she's gone. Hang tight Puglet. It WILL get better. Pugs and Kisses! From: Madgie, Emmett, Rosie, Jake, Dalia, Quincy and Cody. @ the "Pug Ranch"

We suffer the same thing when our human goes to school. She is on winter break right now but soon we will be left in an abyss of pug loneliness, at least we have each other and you have Dutch. It's hard when humans get busy but it doesn't last forever & the guilt tends to work out to be an advantage. If you need some human attention while your human is busy; call Bellatrix's mom she's lots of fun. When she's working just call our human, we don't mind sharing. Hang in there kid.

Puglet,

Sorry you are sooo sad...I TOTALLY feel you bro.

When I first went to live with my human it was just us two...we were happy as clams...then she decides to get married so it became mom, "the man" and me. THEN, she decides to have a baby and not one but two came. So it was mom, "the man", baby, baby and me. If that wasn't enough then she adopted another recycled pug. So now it is mom, "the man", baby, baby, other pug and me.

GEEZ! Enough all ready! I can hardly remember the good ole days when it was just me and mom. But, there are some plusses..."the man" and the babies are always dropping yummy food on the floor and mom is always tired from the craziness at our house so I get to take lots of naps with her.

Hey Puglet,
Wow you are really down in the dumps aren't you. Our mom doesn't forget about us but she gets 'lost in space' specially when she is befuddled with work stuff. Keep you chin up your human will come around she loves you bunches, she may just be a little befuddled.

Poor Puglet! Don't worry, humans sometimes get wrapped up in other things but I'm sure as soon as she gets some free time she'll be back to hangin' with you. My 'rents haven't been the same since we returned from our airplane trip to Chicago. They haven't even gotten all the photos off the camera - c'mon guys, it's been over a week! Oh well, I guess we just have to patient with the silly humans.

-Love,
Sid.

PS That Polariod Jimmy is great! Your human needs to frame that photo!

Pugs need a lot of attention, it's true. After all, they descend from royalty!

Puglet, I bet your human is just as sad as you are about how broken her brain is. As soon as she has time to remember you and Dutch, she is bound to make up for forgetting you. In the meantime you could totally come to my house and hang out. I have 2 big humans and three pink puppy humans and a Boston terrier sister and two cats. No matter how forgetful any of them get, there's always someone who has time to love on me. Wait, never mind because if you came here they would all go GaGa over you and maybe not remember me as much.

Puglet, maybe you have the winter blues? Tell ole gimpy brain you both need some sunshine.

Poor Puglet!!! My Mommy used to work and she would be gone for 8-12 hours a day. I know how you feel! If you want you can come stay here in Missouri with me and my Mommy since she isn't working right now. I bet she would not mind if you came to visit :)

If you are not well aware of experts and you install Undermount sinks on your own then you will need to have some ideas on how to install Undermount sinks. For your information the basic thing you need to know before you install Undermount sinks is that the Undermount sinks can only be installed on a solid edge of the countertop and not any sleek edges.

Puglet, man, get otta the dumps and ask Mom if she needs help! Maybe she needs you to love her right now. Humans are like that their brain gets broken and they get lost and confused. Lick her face and do the cute stuff and she will refocus!!

Deb and Daisy and Pammy said...

It will be alright Puglet. She will refocus and remember to pay attention to you. It is hard for us humans to remember all the things we have to do. You are the most important part of her world and you wouldn't want to trade her in. She knows what kind of loves you need and it will get better. There is a new puppy in our family now and Daisy pug is going through the same thing. But puppy will grow up and know that Daisy comes first around here!
