WARM, FUZZY, SUPERHAPPY

When I first came up with the idea for Daily Puglet, my human was skeptical. She said blogs are "soooo self-indulgent". When Google told me self-indulgent means excessive indulgence of one's own appetites and desires, I didn't see any problem with that. I mean - Hello!!! I AM a pug.

But my human still wasn't into the whole blog thing. She thought I'd run out of things to talk about or her gimpy brain would forget stuff.
But here we are, almost a year later, and I'm still talking.

And you are still listening!

The best part is that my human was totally wrong about blogs being soooo self-indulgent. Ok, sometimes I might get kinda fixated on stuff like flying or Jenny or food. But most of the time this isn't all about me. At least I don't think it is. And it makes me all warm and fuzzy and super happy to have such an extrasuperspecial pack of friends like you.

Thanks for coming :)

Aww, Puglet, you're so darn cute, that even if you do get a bit self indulgent at times, how can anyone not love that cute little face and come by and read!

Morning Puglet, reading your blog totally makes my day! I love to follow your adventures and I always smile at the pics of you and Dutch. Spencer's mommy told me about you and I'm so happy she did. Your blog inspired me to make my own. Mommy says I'm growing up so fast that this is a great way to remember the little things I do to put a smile on her face. I'm sure your mommy feels the same way and really who doesn't love a pug?

Puglet,
Self indulgent? Hmmmmm. I think it's allowed once in a while. My human says she is self indulgent when she has to have a "dailypuglet fix" every day. Other people tell her that she comes alive when she talks about you and your adventures. She first heard about your blog on craigslist in the community pets section, so she goes back there once in a while and posts an ad asking if people are checking in on you to see what you're up to. Her grandkids have to see what you're doing everyday, as if your adventures were like the OLD radio show called The Cinnamon Bear. LOL (You'll have to ask your friend Google about that) She can't wait to have her morning coffee with you (while Kizzy and I get a special cookie). This just gets better every day. Keep it up.

The indulgence is all ours! We nev-ver miss your blog, no matter what's going on...tests (we are not sure what those are but they make our human nutty & we don't like, maybe you can tell her to stop going to a place called school 'cause it cuts into our family time)...whatever we're doing we always have for the Daily Puglet.
We can not fully express how grateful we are for your blog & all that you, Dutch & your wonderful human has done for us & your blog, animal & world communities.

Luv, Zoey, Phoebe & our human

Oh Puglet! I also get fixated on food so I don't mind. I love reading your blog--it is the first thing I do when I get to work in the morning. Thank you for sending out your daily adventures! BTW, you look extra-cute in your pic. Not tubey at all.

We can't thank you and your human (& Dutch) enough for the time and effort it takes to create The Daily Puglet. Between your thoughtful view on the world and your human's amazing photographs, you've built a very special community here. You mean so much to so many, Puglet!

I couldn't agree more Puglet. Blogs might have their self-indulgent side to them but they are also about sharing yourself with others. And as you can see from all the comments here, there are many that love you doing that!

Thank YOU, Puglet!! Our friend Sara (see past comments) alerted me to your presence last year about this time. Your blog couldn't have come at a more perfect time! Our 10-year old rottie had just gone to sleep and I'd always wanted to adopt a pug. You helped us to realize that it was time to let a wonderful recycled puggie into our hearts. AND, you and your followers were such a huge comfort when we lost our puggie! I love getting my Puglet fix! Thank you for all that you do!!

Puglet - your blog is part of my day, when I get home from work, I check messages, see what you were up to that day, check pugs.com and maybe pay a bill or two (well that part I don't like). You make me laugh and even learn a thing or two. So many pug hugs and thanks to you!!!

hey puglet! My mommies view on puggie blogs in particular is that pugs are very self indulgent BOL...she thinks that we do feel that we are the VIP's of well the household. I know I make it a point to be the center of attention no matter where I am. It seems only righ that pugs should have their own blogs...we have lots of demands and things to say!
