NEW LOW

I don't know if you remember when I supermodeled for a dog food ad, but I totally impressed everyone and got paid a whole bunch for doing it. And I don't mean "paid" like when you get cookies for being good. I mean paid with real human money. The kind you can buy stuff (like bacon) with.

Well. I guess the people thought I was so awesome, they wanted me to supermodel for them again. Except a certain gimpy-brained human thought the email she got asking me to be a model was a dream. A freaking dream! And you know what happens when a human thinks they dreamed something?

Nothing.

The only reason I even know about any of this is because my spotted friend Boka did get to be supermodels and their mom called my human from the photoshoot and told her they really wanted me to be there. I guess the pug whose human didn't think their email was a dream wasn't as awesome as me and didn't make the cut or something.

When my human realized her dream wasn't a dream, did she rush my butt over to the set? Nooooo. She told the photoshoot people we couldn't make it because she's too busy and I can't model with a gimpy foot. Can't model with a gimpy foot? Are you serious? I'm a professional. I can model with a gimpy anything.

Ready for the best part? Boka got paid $200 real human dollars for pretending to chase a squirrel up a tree. Yeah. Like I couldn't do that with a gimpy foot. I don't know how much bacon you can buy with $200, but I'm pretty sure my human owes me  BIG TIME for messing with my modeling career.

I STILL haven't gotten any sympathy bacon and don't think I'll be at any of the 999 Other Pugs shoots this weekend because my foot is still gimpy. So if you were planning on bringing me some bacon love, please tie it around my human's neck or something so she doesn't think it was a dream or forget about it.

Oh man! That's lame Pug! $200 would by mucho piles of bacon.

Maybe you need an agent and a handler names Meredith & Scarlet to help out with this stuff...

Well, this is not good! You could've scored major bacon with that kind of money...don't know how much that really is but it sounds like a lot and I bet bacon isn't that much anyway so she messed up by turning that great modeling job down. Gimpy foot or not you could've done all kinds of cool modeling things that you know...she has got to get some help so you don't miss out on any more jobs!

Hi Puglet, Amanda, and Dutch:

This is Bo from Sacramento's mom. I hope you won't mind if I use your blog to share some news with you and your readers.

Sadly, Bo passed over The Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, July 15th at approximately 5:18 p.m. Bo never recovered from being so sick last week. The hemorrhagic gastroenteritis turned out to be gastrointestinal lymphoma, a very aggressive form.

I created a memorial for Bo at www.ilovedmypet.com/bolicious if anyone is intersted in reading it.

Thank you for allowing me to butt into your space to share my news. And thank you Amanda for your thoughtful offer. I just wish we had been able to make a photoshoot.

Sincerely,
Bo's mom.

Bo's mom please accept my deepest sympathy. I can't imagine what you are going through. I'm sure your heart is broken but find comfort in the fact you were able to hole Bo in your arms as he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs to you.....

Dear Bo's Mom,
I was helping Pug's Mom with 1000 Pugs photoshoots yesterday and we had a moment of silence for Bo. I wish I could have met him. Your memorial was beautiful...tears stream down my face as I type this. Your memorial brought up so much emotion that I still have from losing Gracie to lymphoma. There are no words to ease your pain but please know that you aren't alone and that we all grieve the loss of these special creatures. My sincere condolences. My only solace has been our other two pugs and the rotating foster pugs that need my help. Even though you will and must grieve, I hope you find another furry friend to help you cope. It's the only thing that has helped me.

Bo's Mom, so sorry to hear about your loss, we have been thinking of him, and sending JuJu... Thinking of you, and sending good thoughts. We are nearby Sacramento (Lincoln), and perhaps we met at a Pug meet up, but in any case, sending you our love.

Oh, and Puglet. I really hope your human gave you the baggie of love that my human gave to her for you. I couldn't believe my nose, she cut bacon into nice puggy sized bites, cooked it, cooled it off and put it in a BAG. Then when we saw your human and Nikon she took the bag out of her purse and *gave it to your human*!

Sigh, so I hope you got to enjoy it because I sure didn't.
