All those things seem to be very puggy topics. I have to admit though that all pugs are not created equal. Pug is the first pug I've ever known, so I just assumed all pugs were just like him: nice but bossy, a little too smart, and kinda funny looking. But Frank isn't bossy or too smart - he's just funny looking.
I've noticed some other differences too. Pug sucks food down like it's been years since his last meal; Frank takes ten minutes to eat a bowl of food (and still doesn't finish). Pug doesn't fart or snore; Frank farts and snores. Pug's tail looks like a cheese doodle; Frank's tail looks like a snail. Pug pushes me off the bed; Frank just sleeps on top of me.
I know you can't really judge a dog by its breed, but I thought some Pug things were universal.

FLATTIE NEWS!
Flat Puglet is back on the other coast today, visiting two pugs named Petunia and Sequoia in a place called Virginia. After almost getting eaten by Tuni, he helps perform medical tests and rides in one very cool airplane (the real Puglet is sooooooooo jealous about the airplane).
You can read about it here on flatpuglet.com

Hi Dutch! It's so cool that you're doing a post today. I knew Puglet and Frank would end up in a coma after watching the video of them playing. It made me really tired just watching it.

Hi Dutch!
If you're looking to compare, Beulah is REALLY bossy, a little too smart, she sucks down her meals, her tail looks like a snail, she doesn't fart much or snore unless she is really tired, and she likes to sleep right in the middle of the bed which forces Barney to stare at her and whine until I move her so he can lie down (then she curls up next to him). And she is funny looking.
Lola isn't very bossy with other dogs, and gets beat up a little by our cat. She always acts like she's starving, even snorts while she's eating. Her tail is more snail than cheese doodle, and she snores like an overweight man with sleep apnea. She wakes me up at 3 every morning for a potty break and breakfast, then goes back to bed. And she is funny looking.
Hi Dutch,
BOL! Not all Pugs are created equal. Although, both Pugs in my house snore. Neither is really a farter. Gunther inhales his food while Stella takes her girly time.
It's nice to know you're gettin' to know the Puggies.
French kisses,
Betty
Hi Everybody,
The pugs are STILL sleeping! I don't think Frank is used to this kind of activity (he's a little on the tubular side).
Right now they're sharing a spot on the kitchen floor where a patch of sun lives. Pug likes that spot a lot, and Frank pooped there to let us know he likes it too.
FINALLY, I get the dogbed all to myself.
Great picture, Dutch! We wish (especailly Phoebe) you didn't hate the camera so much; we love your pictures! Yeah, we pugs are all over the map as far as personalities but there are some traits that seem to be a little more common than others. Phoebe eats like her food is goning to run away then she tries to get mine because I like to take my time, Phoebe's bossy & Ijust go with the flow. Anyway, enjoy your time while Frank is there.
Luv, Zoey & Phoebe
Dutch...food is my favorite thing in the world. I cry and whine and make quite a scene when my human picks up my food bowl.
As for farting, my humans blame the funny smells around the house on me...come on now there are 3 other dogs and 2 humans it can't always be me!!!
Dutch, what a handsome smile you have. I think your 15 minutes of fame has served you well and you LIKE it. Now I don't have a gassy ass but I make up for it with the lonnggg inhaled snort/snore. It brings conversation to a halt in our house. Food is beyond an addiction for me. When the bowls are filled up in the sink for me and my brothers I plow into the back patio door (where we eat) and start my Cat Scratch Fever motion. I have stripped the paint down to bare wood; I really just want to help my Forever Mom or Dad open the door and being that there is no knob down where I can reach, it's the best I can do. I am working on my SIT command before we go outside but there is a concern my eyeballs will pop out of my head and that would be more expensive to fix than repainting the door, right?!? Glad you and Puglet liked your prezzies. :) My Forever Mom has now found her addiction - jewelry & card making. Mine is still FOOD! xoxo Tink
Oh and P.S. that's my brother Beans (Mr. Trouble) with my Forever Mom in the new picture posted. She is going to try and rotate us so we can all get our 15 minutes of fame. Bye, Tink
This is still me, uh, Dutch.
If you hate the camera like I hate the camera (and I reeeeeally hate it) tell your human to hold food in front of it. If you click on my picture to make it big and look deep into my eyes, you will see my human. Or at least her arms. And if I recall correctly, her arms were holding a Cheeto.
Hiya Dutch!
I love when you blog, I think you should do it more often. I love Puglet too, but it's always neat to hear from you. Great picture, you should be in them more often. Happy you're getting a bit of a break. Don't get too used to it though, I'm sure they'll be back at it soon enough.
Oh Miss Bella, you are so nice. I'd probably be here more often if it weren't for the camera part. Those things really creep me out.
The pugs are snoring away as I type. They wake up every now and then, break into a wrestle-fest, then return to their coma....
Hi there Dutch...You are a very sweet looking pooch! Your right you can never judge a dog by its breed. We are all different.
Wags and Licks,
Mollie Jo & Bobo & Bonnie the foster sibling
Yes, you are right. I suppose I should know this. People always ask my human if I am deaf. And if I am hyper or crazy. Just because I'm a Dalmatian!?!
Many Dals can't hear, but I can. My human says I'm about as hyper as a plant.
