DISGRUNTLED

After the twigs, uh, left the building on Saturday we met up with a bunch of my human's friends. They were all dog shooters too, so everywhere I looked there was someone to pose for.

Cameras to the left of me. Cameras to the right of me. Cameras in front of me.

I was in heaven! Striking a pose takes a lot of concentration, so it took me awhile to notice that the cameras I was posing for were named Canon and Pentax. My human's camera is named Nikon. Where was Nikon? And my human?

Well, I'll tell you where they were. And I have today's picture to prove it. My human wasn't paying the slightest bit of attention to ME because she was too busy taking pictures of a stranger dog for the stupid Daily Frolic. That's her in the background with the yellow hair. And that's me in the front, looking disgruntled.

And she wonders why I eat sticks.

Huge thanks to Lily's dog-shooting mom (Chickpea Photography) for documenting this injustice!

Now Puglet, no-one can hold a candle to your puggy cuteness! But your human has got to keep you and Dutch up with the lifestyle you are accustomed to! Cookies, Henrietta chickens and stylin' collars cost $!! Besides, going to work with her could be really cool.....Betsy

Hiya Puglet,

Yeah, disgruntled looks like a good word to describe todays picture - you totally got the shaft during the stupid business stuff. Hey! At least Miss Yellow Hair is finally taking you with her to shoot dogs, that's a start :)

You're a great mascot, hang in there and I'm sure your human will be back to you soon enough :)

Licks,
Molly in PA

PS: My human asked the mulch people about the toxicity stuff and I'm safe :)

You do look mighty disgruntled. Like you made a perfect face expression to show your disgust. I'm very impressed. Maybe you should consider acting...

You do NOT look happy. It seems you're suffering for the sake of your human's art--twigs and all. If you can find another way to cope with the stress of other dogs getting your human's attention, maybe you'll be safe from twigs, rocks, and socks?

Hey I saw you on that photo shooter website, doing a little dance! haha, how funny Puglet!

BOL! Oh, Puglet! Turn that frown upside-down! I don't think I've ever seen a puggy look so grumpy! The diva inside you came out again, eh? Well, we wouldn't expect anything less from you. Just try not to be so self distructive. No more sticks!! (Or, rocks, or woodchips,....) We love you and we want you to be okay, okay?!

See Pug there may be a little problem going on here...it's called being taken for granted. This occurs when your mom realizes she sees you everyday all the time, so she might be a tad bit immune to your charms. Now don't panic, you can become visible again, by doing something bad (like waking her up in the middle of the night with kisses-I'd never do that hehe) or something good, like learning a new trick to show off.
Don't worry Pug, we all bask in the glow of your handsomeness, so you are never without your adoring fans. Now go shower mom with kisses!!

Ooh Puglet! Your expression is priceless!

I think the new trick will grab your humans attention (and maybe elicit some cookies)! If not her, perhaps you can try it for her friends instead of yeti-ing (I saw you!!!)

Oh puglet, you look miserable. I think its time for a vacation...maybe you can pack up the tent, etc and head for a camping trip. Dutch can deal with it! Maybe you are also suffering from lack of sun like your human? Worried about you dude.

Pug, I have not seen you do the Yeti yet. Any chances of seeing that soon?

Way to be optimistic, Betsy. I guess that's probably cuter than being disgruntled, huh? I've been working HARD on not getting in front of the camera when I'm not supposed to.

I haven't attacked anyone since I got in trouble for ruining Frank's picture. Maybe my human will let me be her assistant soon. Assistants get cookies, right??

Phew, Molly. Glad your mulch is just mulch. Maybe, as an official mascot, I should start making demands.

Noodle - I'm trying. It's just soooo hard not to eat. You know how it is :(

Hey BellaT ~

I think I covered 'bad' with the twigs. Guess it's time to work on my new trick. And I'll ask my human to take a picture of the Yeti. It must be kinda cute because I usually score mega cookies from strangers whenever I do it.

Hi Pug!
Such a sad expression! Your milking it is working on your followers, me included. Please do the Yedi! You will be back in the spot light & your followers can't wait to see the Yedi.
