BANANA PUG (the sequel)

Remember back at Halloween when my human dressed me up in a silly costume that was supposed to make me look like a banana (but didn't)? I thought she was kinda crazy for thinking I could ever look like a piece of fruit, but turns out she's not the only one who thinks a pug can be a banana.

Because yesterday I got an Easter package in the mail from my cousin Sophie. Did she send Peeps? Eggs? A stuffed thing? Nope. She sent me this:

Sophie said it reminded her of me. She also said the pugs come dressed up like other things too. Like cowboys. And punk rockers. Or pea pods.
They're called 'Pugnacious Pugs' figurines and my human thinks they are all "crazy adorable".

I just hope she doesn't get any 'crazy adorable' ideas about dressing me up to look like a peapod!!

FLATTIE NEWS!
Today the flat me visits Phoebe & Zoey. They introduce him to a pug that ate one too many rocks and take him back to the aquarium where he learns how to watch seafood (and meets lots of fishes)!

You can read about it here at flatpuglet.com

I aways thought you made a great banana!
I love Pugnacious Pugs! My husband always liked the Cow Parade, but I think these puggies have those cows beat!! My favorite is definitely the (surprise!) Chinese Take-Out pug!

OH MY DOG...Do you know what I was for Halloween last year....A monkey....We should have totally gone together...we would have won for sure!

We love the pug figures...they are adorable!

Wonder if they make poodles...hmmm...

There are not enough cookies in the pugverse to get me dress up. Mom and I came to an understanding early in our relationship...she doesn't dress me up, and I don't pee in the house. That is win win for everyone. We have both kept up our end of the bargain so we will have many happy years to come.
Puglet you should lead a pugolution, where all the pugs in the pugverse refuse to wear bananas, but instead eat them! Viva la pug!

Puglet, my human dressed me as a shark and she was a fisherman for Halloween. I'm not even sure how that makes sense.

Hi Puglet! Doesn't your cousin Sophie know you well enough to know that you don't want anything but food gifts? Sheesh. What's a pug to do with some old trinket.

I still think you look like a conehead in the banana costume. Hey, maybe if they ever revive that skit on SNL you could be the family dog.

Oh Puglet, we know you probably don't want to hear this but you are an ADORABLE banana! You made us a little hungry; bananas are one of our favorite snacks with peanut butter is even better or on a hot day a frozen one... uh got to go; we're gong to to try the "Jimmy" to get a bananalicious treat!

I think we could all learn something from Bellatrix: as soon as you let your human dress you up *once*, you're opening the door to a lifetime of humiliating outfits!!

Funny things is, the pugnacious figurine doesn't look all that happy to be 'banana-ized" either!

Uhm, who else here likes to eat bananas?

I've never tasted one before & it sounds like I might be missing something......

I help mom eat a banana every morning. I like wearing my sweater but last year mom put me in a pumpkin costume...it was huge...not very flattering. I think I'm going to be a daisy this year....Puglet- you totally rock that banana suit!

I'll have to give bananas a try. I know I like oranges. I definitely don't like banana suits.

I'm with Stubby, you could be the coneheads dog and consume mass quantities of beer.

Where can we get the banana outfit??

Target sells the banana - but only at Halloween.

Hey Puglet: My mom thinks you are adorable no matter how you look or what you are wearing - something about that face of yours that just melts her heart.

Bananas are pawesome, man; you have to try one. Next to popcorn and cheese, bananas are one of my favorite foods. Hmmmm, I'm getting an idea for a no-cookie cookie recipe.......... Your mom shouldn't have any objections to you having a banana as they're good for you!!

My mom has several of those Pugnacious thingies, too. One of them is dressed like a caveman, and he doesn't look to happy about being dressed in a skirt!

Have a great day Puglet; looking forward to tomorrow's blog!!
