IT WORKED!

I hope everyone had the awesomest Christmas ever. I know I did. The weather has been really crazy, so we didn't get to visit the snow like we did last year (or visit the drive thru to get Nuggets). But that didn't matter because our giant empty socks totally got stuffed.

Even though I did exactly what everyone told me to do (hang the socks, leave out food, etc.), I was kinda surprised when I woke up Christmas morning and my sock was full. I have no idea how the Santa dude got in and out without me or Dutch hearing him, but it's probably a good thing he didn't wake us up in the middle of the night. We might have accidentally attacked him and who knows what would have happened to our socks then.

Totally stuffed!

Here's what the Santa dude stuffed in my sock:

- Omegas!
- salmon sticks
- Dingo candy cane
- a big fat carrot
- mini squeaky tennis balls
- a Stella & Chewy's patty (aka, puglet crack - I'll do a whole post on them later)
- shampoo (huh???)

Dutch got pretty much the same stuff, except he got a bag of Primal lamb hearts instead of Omegas. We each got a present too, but I'll save that for later this week (suuuuperexcited about my present!!).

What was in your giant empty sock on Christmas morning? Did the Santa dude leave any presents under your tree??

Lucky you! I wish had more treats in my sock! I like my squeaky duck, plush hot dog and new baby blue nylabone.

Merry Christmas!

Hi Puglet,
You got some awesome stuff in your sock.

Our socks were stuff'd too. Christmas squeaky toys, a mini Chuck It toy for Eli, Omega treats, Canadea treats, dried something from the Pugnacious store in your neck of the woods and mom made 'Santa Paw' treats with pink, white and chocolate carob chip drizzle on top. New sweaters were under the tree, well not exactly under cause Lucy the cat took up residence under our tree.

Whats with the fat carrot and shampoo?? That one has us confused.

PS, Russian Christmas is January 7th, maybe you'll get something on that day too, we always do.

Heya Puglet!

Totally stuffed is an understatement - holy cowpies, you got the hook up :)

Glad you enjoyed your Christmas! My human said to tell your human that she should be glad she's not stuck in the NJ today -- they're buried with snow (!) .. we are too, but not as much.

Merry Christmas Puglet! Santa came here, but mom only gave us part of our haul because we are having Christmas again next week. But for actual Christmas day, we got turkey leg rawhide bones and Quincy and Isabelle got Healthy Edibles bones since they don't have many teeth.
We are expecting many additions to our wardrobe, toys, new leashes and harnesses, plus a TON of bullysticks and treats. And we are rarely disappointed.
One thing Santa brought that he could take back is the 16 inches of snow we wound up with. We don't like that.

Hmmmm, Darwin. A plush hotdog? COol! I have a rubber ducky but it's kinda lame and doesn't make any noise. I think you totally scored.

Baby blue nylabone??

Pink, white *and* chocolate carob chip drizzle?? You've gotta explain the drizzle thing. It sounds much tastier than plain old chips. Not that the chips aren't yummy...

Hiya Molly ~

I know! I was kind of afraid the Santa dude wouldn't leave me anything because I haven't been 100% good this year (going poodle, eating stray poop, etc) but I guess being mostly good is good enough? Who knows.

Sorry to hear about the snow. Sort of. We've been getting a ton of rain and rain is just lame. At least you can play in snow - all you can do with rain is get wet :(

Turkey leg what? Hmmm. Never had a turkey let anything. And how'd you manage to get TWO Christmases? Totally jealous!

Hey Puglet,
I'm glad to hear your giant empty sock experiment worked so well.
I got a pink snuggy and a couple some cool squeaky toys.
My foster brother Timmy got the mother-load of toys. He was given a whole bag of toys from the rescue he's being fostered through plus another package from a lady who's friends with the rescue.
We got to have 2 Christmas dinners and were introduced to the joys of turkey skin and fruitcake. Yum-my!

We got some great treats and toys in our stockings! Our grandfurparents & aunts/uncles gave us lots of crunchy treats too!!! We are going to get fat! Too bad Santa didn't leave a snowblower thingy for my parents. We got 27" of that horrible white stuff, which is kinda making it difficult to do our business, you understand :( even for big old Cleo.

OMD, Sabrina - Dutch got a pink Snuggie too!

Frodo, Molly + Cleo,

Holy snow! My human says 27" is taller than Dutch. She also says the getting-fat-from-Christmas thing is why Santa stuffed a carrot and shampoo in my sock. I like carrots, but not a huge fan of the shampoo idea.

Wow Pug you totally scored big this year! I was so happy to find a new Santa stuffed Hedgehog in my stocking...now I have a whole family of them to toss around. Mom got me some yummy buffalo toobles and twizzle sticks, oh and some other stuff too...so much to enjoy. She says I'm looking a little plump, so I have to get this...pace myself..and dont' get everything at once. Shesh!
The best Christmas gift this year?? Sunshine finally!! Spent yesterday at Pt. Isabel soaking it up before the next storm. I am getting tired of all this rain!!

Puglet,
Carob drizzle...tell your human to melt the chips in a bowl the microwave. Then scoop the melted carob into a baggie, squish all the carob to one end of the baggie, snip the end off squeeze and you have drizzle! Wah la!

Our mom misses snow so bad, she'e from Pennsylvania. Our dad got her *Snow in a Can*. Very funny dad!

We scored! We each got our own stocking (with our names on it) with three squeaky toys, a bag of homemade bacon treats, a bag of Salmon Omegas, the pug collars you saw at pugnacious, a silver frame with our name on it in the shape of a doghouse, flashing tags for the dark and new id tags with a crown on them. Our aunt Abbey (she's a corgi) also got all the same stuff. We had a fun Christmas!

Merry Christmas Puglet, Dutch & Amanda!
That Santa guy only left me a new snowsuit this year (I knew something was up when I had to have my measurements taken a month ago). I got nothing edible whatsoever due to my "supposed" winter pudge and because I get what I want whenever I want it (I could argue that one!). So Santa gave my stuff to other dogs that don't get cookies every day and don't get to take annual vacations with friends to dog camp or hang out with pals every week at daycare.
On the bright side, I spent a lot of time running around in the park and doing a lot of sniffing.
I found my first squirrel popsicle of the season :) But I didn't get to keep it :)

Hi Puglet!
I got one oh those super long toys that I can barely fit through a doggy door and a hexbug! Those things are crazy!! Super funalishous, too! Anyway, i would love it if you'd check out my video on animal cruelty and what you can do to help! I know it is sad but I'm trying to help spread the word. I am donating toys and blankets to my local humane society shelter. They never euthanize their animals and I think that's wonderful.

Thank You,
The Pugalicious Jasmine and her sidekick human Abi

Belated Happy Holidays!! (Did anyone else notice that Dutch looks cross-eyed, and maybe a little bit insane, in that pic of him in the Santa hat in a prior post? yikes!)... anyway! I have a supercute stocking that has a doggie with big floppy ears on it just like mine! Mom went to the dollar store and scored a million toys that squeek because those are my favs, and I tend to destroy anything pretty fast (including my lion wubba, sniff)... big xmas smooches to Dutch, sorry Puglet, but he's the man - or at least closer to my height ;-)

We had a great holiday! Glad to hear that your enjoyed yours. We got lots of treats and even more toys! Our human promises to take us to Chrissy Field as soon all of the rain goes away. We have spent as much time at the parks around our house but we really want to play in the sand. Is it too late to ask that Santa dude for some dry weather?

Yay! Congratulations Pug. Sounds like you guys scored quite the loot! I had a couple of new toys in my sock. (I ignore them because I'm a one-toy kind of pug and I still love my floppy monkey!) There was also a new yak stick. Oh, I love it when they're brand-new!! My grandmaw got me a jacket and some YUMMY liver snacks that make my human and my grandmaw scowl. I had a great day. I followed my grandmaw all over the house. She gave me lots of treats, but she made me "jimmy" for them!
