WOOO HOO!

You are never ever going to guess what happened... so let me tell you:

Jenny the pug tweeted me.

Yup. She tweeted. ME! And not just any old tweet. She sent me a private tweet WITH her address!

I was soooo happy I did a little happy dance all around the house. Dutch totally made fun of me, but whatever. He doesn't know. He doesn't have a Jenny who sends special tweets and is OK with getting stuff in the mail from semi-secret admirers.

So I did it. I sent my love to Jenny the pug.
Ok, I really sent her a box with a toy and a poem in it. But they definitely said I might kinda love you. My heart is now in the hands of the USPS, on its way to Oregon.

I'm a little nervous though. I mean, what if she doesn't like the poem? Or the toy I picked out? Or... me?

How could she not like you! I'm sure once she gets the toy and poem you sent her she will fall madly in love with you :-)

Come on, Puglet. Don't you know that love means you never have to say you're sorry?

Good luck.

Hi Puglet! I didn't know you were on Twitter! Please post something on your blog so I can follow you all day long.

Jenny is going to love her gift and poem, but now you have to get her another gift. Valentine's Day is next month and that is the holiday of love. Ask your human and Google about it.

Speaking of Valentine's Day, I'm organized a card exchange to celebrate the holiday and if you'd like to get in on it, please check out my post from a couple of weeks ago - http://lifeofstubby.blogspot.com/2010/01/are-you-in.html.

Stubby xoxo

Pee-s: I think you meant semi-secret stalker!

Oh Puglet you are such a hopeless romantic. I am so jealous of Jenny. I know she's just going to love your poem and little gift. I just swoon at the thought of a love poem...

Take it from a woman; whatever you do to show your feeling is what really matters to us. It's the effort we love. Jenny will be happy with anything you give her & the fact that you took the time to put your feelings into a poem is even better. You have surpassed most humans in the expression of feelings department. Jenny is a very lucky lady. She probably loves you already.

This is great news!

I hope you're right and my poem impresses Jenny. Those suckers are really really hard to write!

It's tough enough to say I-might-kinda-love-you, but to make it rhyme and stuff like a real poem is almost impossible.

Google said next time I should try Haiku (??).

Thanks for the nose-up about the Valentine thing, Stubbs.

If I get to know Jenny better I'll send her one of Buford T's tasty bully-penises.

Good luck Pug! Falling in love is such a wonderful, anguish filled thing. Now that spring is just around the corner, with all the baby birds (and cows), new sprouts and buds and flowers everywhere, I'm sure you'll feel INSPIRED to write poetry with a lovely pug like Jenny for a muse.

Puglet,
Love is in the air dee-dee-dee-dee-d-d-d-d!!! My human says she has been alone for too long and just hearing about your lovely love sick heart is refreshing. Good luck and keep us posted.
By the way, Dutch looks great smelling flowers. I had a hard time finding you. LOL Don't be so hard on him. LOL
Hugs,
Phoebe

Love sick is right. Every time I think about Jenny my stomach feels all jiggly. Or maybe it's my heart that feels funny?

(sigh)

This is my first time in love and I'm not really sure how it works.
