Remember when I stalked my human and ended up getting my fur done at that place called Blo? Well, I didn't tell you that on the way there someone smashed into our car. They weren't going fast so nobody got hurt and it wasn't scary or anything, but part of our car died. The car's been at the car hospital all week getting fixed so my human had to rent a new one. This wouldn't be a big deal except we're not allowed to go in the rent car. Don't ask me why, but it's meant that our usual routine hasn't been happening as usual.
Instead of going on long walks at the beach or one of the big parks, we've been going to a fenced in dogpark that's a few blocks from our house. Brother Dutch said he used to go to the dogpark a lot but I'd never been there (my human says she'd rather walk around than just sit and watch us play).
Anyway. I made lots of new friends at the dogpark. Even though I was a newbie, everyone already knew my name. I've kinda missed running around in wide open spaces, but it's kinda cool how all the humans sit around the dogpark and watch their dogs play. It means there are lots of laps to jump up on. No one seemed to mind me jumping up on them either. I can't get away with doing that anywhere else.

Hi Puglet! I don't know why dogs can't go in rental cars either. They let babies in them and we are much less messy than they are.
Dad had a rental car last year because a deer ran into his car. Part of the car died but the deer was okay.
I haven't been to a dogpark because Mom says I'm too old. I just walk across the street to our park and do my thing because that's what old dogs do!

We had a similar thing happen only our whole car died! We had a rental car also but my dog brothers and I got to ride in it!!! It had some strange smells but it got us to the doggie hotel and back safely. Now we have a new car but we haven't gotten to go anywhere in it yet. Something about enjoying a hairless car for a while. What is up with that?

I just love the dog park! Big shout out to Heather Farms! It's the only place I get to run off-leash. My mom says she doesn't know where I'll go and when I'll come back if she lets me off. I tell her I'll be back in time for dinner, but the answer is still 'no'.
Sorry about your car accident. I'm glad you, Dutch, and your human are all fine. My mom says that even when a car accident isn't too bad, it's still very scary. She says it makes you realize how bad it could have been, and grateful you're ok.

Don't worry Stubbs, I don't think you're missing all that much. The dogpark was OK, but I got humped A LOT. That doesn't happen at the regular park.
Rosie - I dunno what's up with humans and their hair hating. We have to ride in the dogpod (way back of the car) so our hair doesn't get all over the place. The hair still gets all over the place though and it drives my human nuts.
