FINALLY!

Well, I still don't know who Kim is. But we *finally* got to go on an adventure today and I'm pretty sure Kim was there too.

At least I think she was.

It's been really cold and gross and foggy lately and this always makes my human nuts, so I suggested we get up really early and go for a hike some place where the sun still shines. My maybe-crazy human thought that was an awesome idea.

I wasn't sure if invisible/imaginary/ghost Kim would be coming with us and being trapped in Mazda's pod with someone I can't see would be totally creepy. I tried to be stealth.

ME: do you think Kim wants to come hiking with us?
MY HUMAN: I don't know if Kim wants to hike, but Kim will.

Uhm. Ok. No clue there. So me, Dutch, my human and maybe Kim woke up in the dark and headed over the grey bridge and through a tunnel to a place where the sun shines. It's called Orinda.

Orinda doesn't have cows but it's still superfun. First I found some funk to roll in. I don't know what it was but it smelled really dead. Totally worth getting yelled at for.

It was kinda hot so I didn't mind when my human made me go in the lake thing to wash off the funk. At least not until I got tangled up in a bunch of stupid plants. Plants + swimming = no fun at all. Floating wasn't so bad though.

After floating, we hiked for miles and miles (like 8 of them). I climbed a tree, almost stepped on another snake and hunted down a pack of wild birds. Ginormous scary looking birds.

Ok, maybe we didn't exactly hunt down any birds. But it sounds very adventure-y, doesn't it? This is as close as we got to the ginormous wild birds.

I don't know if Kim had fun, but I know I did. Am pretty sure my human (and Dutch) did too.

Wow...you guys are in great shape, cuz 8 miles is a long way...up and down hills and chasing stuff.

Puglet, the only *kim* + *ghost* on google was the dictator of North Korea...and he was a big meanie. I heard that he didn't let anybody have bacon...EVER!

Just saying.... Emma 'n Piggy

You sure did me on a journey, Puglet. First I thought "Orinda, that's kind of by me! I should check out the stink and the snakes." Then I saw the 8 miles and decided I'd rather hang out in the hammock with the short people I *can* see.

Maybe Kim is the camera. Our mom names stuff all the time. Her white MacBook is Pearl and her white iPhone is MiniPearl. Humans.

Glad you finally got your adventure, Puglet! The water pics are awesome, with the bright green reeds going all directions; very 'artsy' =)
We missed seeing Dutch; was he hiding from your stink?
Love always, Bruno & Diesel♥♥♥

You were sooo super close to my house, Pug! I can almost smell Orinda from here- with the stink and all. Lafayette has lots of wild birds and hiking trails, too! I'm not good for an 8- miler, but I have a puggy buggy my mom brings along for when I get too tired, so I don't break like Frank.
Still trying to figure out who Kim is- I hope he's not the mean NK Kim who doesn't share bacon, though... even though I NEVER get bacon anyway. (insert sigh here)

Whassup Puglet? You were in my hood! I chased those giant birds one time and it tried to peck my face off! Don't chase the birds!

Hey Puglet, when you come to New Jersey we'll take you hiking in the Pine Barrens and swimming in the bog with the cranberries! We have lots of stinking stuff - some toxic, some not and some that glows and some that doesn't and while we have a wild thing in the Jersey Pine Barrens, I don't think we want to go chasing it ..... come visit the JSP's in New Jersey and see your cousin, Sophie, too.

Flating pug is one of the cutest thing ever. I am sure Kim really enjoyed spending a day with you guys. Ask your human if Kim likes bacon...

Haha Puglet! I enjoy reading about your adventures! I'm glad I got to meet you and your human in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago.

Hi Puglet,
Eli thinks that water looks so inviting he likes to swim and roll in stinky stuff, you guys would have a blast together. The 8 mile walk would be fun if 1/2 of the walk was down hill, Ellie would chase the birds cause its her job to keep birds out of our backyard and out of the birdbath. Nice pics of you but where was Dutch ?

Hi Pug!
I had an idea about Kim. Maybe she lives in Mazda's radio. Does your human only talk about Kim coming along on Mazda days?

That adventure to Orinda looked like a lot of fun. Maybe KIM was there, maybe not. Doesn't matter cuz AT LAST you got to go on a hike.
Watch out for those wild turkeys. They are wicked and mean.

Rolling in funk, floating in the water, hunting down some birds...man, what a day you guys had! Hope Kim enjoyed it too, I know I would've!

All of the Kims we know Pug are very nice ladies, so we're sure your Kim is too. Clearly she doesn't mind smelly stuff, which is a good sign.

My Buddy loves the wading pool, but if I fill it too full when he tries to sit and relax his butt floats to the top and his head dips too close to the wate. This frustrates his relaxing time. He's not as smart as you to try and lay flat to float Pug!!!

PUglet, you look kind of cross-eyed in that last photo. Is that because your eyes are so far apart ; )
