WHIPPED CREAM DAY

Last week, a pug named Penny in Las Vegas went to sleep. She wasn't old and it happened suddenly. Maybe a brain tumor? Nobody knows.

I didn't know Penny, but she was loved by so many. When I heard the love others had for her, I felt like she was my friend too. My man Stubby says Penny was a very sexy puggy who liked to watch cartoons (Sponge Bob!), listen to Michael Jackson at pooptime, and eat whipped cream. She really loved whipped cream.

Penny loved whipped cream so much, Winston declared yesterday 'Whipped Cream Day' in her honor. We NEVER eat whipped cream at my house, but Fate must have known we would need some because my human bought a can last week for the filming of the Earth Day video.

Winston - you are one special pug for honoring Penny with Whipped Cream Day. I hope I never go to sleep, but if I do, I hope someone has a day for me too. It can be Cheetos. Pirate Booty. Cow pies. Doesn't matter, as long as it makes everyone think of me and smile. Dutch was afraid of the whipped cream can so he'd prefer my honorary day doesn't involve anything in a scary can.

That is my new fave pic of you- with your tongue wrapped around the whipped cream can. I'm sure Penny would be honored to have a special day for her.
Pug love to Penny's family of humans and pug friends.

So sad about Penny. I read about her last week, and after reading how much she loved whipped cream, I just had to give some to Frodo in her honor. Nice of you guys to mention her for your posting today. :(

Hi Puglet...I think mom is a day late and a dollar short with adding you to our blogroll BUT you're there now!

Your tribute to Sexy Penny was wonderful! I got to celebrate Whippy Day yesterday too and mom showed me Penny's pics again and we cracked up and how funny some of them are (we think Penny would approve!).

BTW, mom has been "Squeeeee-ing" over your Green video and has forwarded it to EVERYONE she knows!!!! We hope you win an Oscar!

Love,
S-Dog

Oh Puglet, once again you show how big hearted you really are towards your fellow pug friends. I didn't know Penny, but it makes me happy to know that she touched so many hearts. I read a little about it, but it made my eyes water too much and it wasn't from my allergies. I hope her mom is ok, and I will have whip cream dreams for Penny.

Our hearts go out to all who loved Penny especially her family. As fate would have it tommorow is Zoey's birthday & our friend brought over some cupcakes with homemade whipped cream to celebrate. It's a day early but we will do anything to honor a fellow pug. It looks like you can't get enough whipped cream from the looks of your picture. Maybe Dutch can try some of the homemade stuff; it doesn't have a scary can. We will keep Penny in our thoughts & hope that our pug love is felt even though we're miles away.

Hi everybody~

It's always hard when a pug friend - or ANY friend - goes to sleep. I think honoring a sleeping friend with a whipped cream fest (or any kind of fest!) is the best idea I've ever heard! Ever.

Hi, this is Dutch.

No more whipped cream please. It tastes good but the can is very scary.

Thanks

Thanks for a lovely tribute to Penny - she always kept us intertained with her adventures and we will miss her :(

Also wanted to let you know how much we love your green video - we are going to do a blog about it this week sometime when we can convince mom to let us on the 'puter.

Poor Dutch. It looks like it might be hard for the Pug to give up whipped cream so next time, ask your human for the kind you whip yourself...it tastes even better than the scary can. Z&P

Hi Puglet! So nice of you to honor Penny. You would have loved her because she was very sexy and such a cool chick.

I think maybe Dutch didn't like the can because it wasn't his idea. Maybe Cool Whip is more his speed!

Hi Puglet! My heart broke when mom told me about Penny. We liked reading about Penny and it was devastating to hear she went to sleep. It was very nice that you broke out the whip cream to honor such a sexy beefy girl like Penny. We are thinking of Penny & her mom, Dana.

Puglet, wasn't it fun celebrating Penny with her favourite Whip. I am sure Penny's mum loved the pictures of us all eating whip. Please tell your momma that I haven't forgotten about the flat puglet project. We have been delayed in uploading our pictures due to the holiday and mum's camera being stolen.
