Uh, someone's positive thinking yesterday did something really weird to my feet. I went from gimpy-footed to... hooved!

Nah, just kidding.

My gimpy-brained human was cleaning out the dog cabinet yesterday and found a whole bunch of new parts she totally forgot to feed us. And I thought everyone's brains could use some comic relief after all that deep thought, so I tried on a few parts for a quick picture before eating.

The parts I'm wearing came from some exotic animal I don't remember the name of, but we got them at Pugnacious and they're more tasty than the usual kind of hooves we get.
Whatever they are.

Dutch is modeling a pair of feet called Twin Hoofers. I think they might be from a cow, but the ingredients label says they contain: hoof, tendon, bone, cartilage so who knows. I just know they are taste-y.

Hi Puglet,
You sure gave my Mom a chuckle first thing in the morning. Just don' gallop away on us!

Mornin' Puglet!

That is the silliest, funniest photo my human has seen in a very long time, she almost spit out her cereal!

I *LOVE* hooves, they are super stinky and super tasty -- so stinky & tasty that I'm only allowed to have them *outside* the house because of my human's stupid OCD against smelly hooves :)

PS, how is your gimpy foot?

OH NO! Momma must have gotten her wires crossed! She spends too much time fixing human feet & cutting human toenails.....I guess she got a little confused when she was sending out her vibes. We'll have a talk with her.
Hope your gimpy-ness is better today.

Hi Puglet,
Leave it to you our mom is cracking up, she's laughing so hard water is coming our of her eyes and nose. Let's hope she doesn't start to pee. Hooves...we love them but rarely get them. Something about stinky & sticky.. whatever! Hooves can't be any worse then the tin foil Eli took out of the garbage this morning, that boy eats just about anything.
Have a good one Puglet, and Dutch too.

Oh, PS, Pug Nationals in Ohio was so much fun, cept I got sick on the airplane. Mom says no more plane rides for me.

We never had yummies like those before. Are they really good as everyone says they are? Where do you buy something like that?

My Mommy, the vegetarian, would never think to let us eat hooves - or any of the other body parts you frequently speak of. But I do loves the stinky stuff. They sure look funny on YOUR feet.

Haha! My momma is grossed out by weird body parts (& also a vegetarian) so she'd never bring something like that into the house. Maybe I can sneak away to your house & try some one day?

I've had (and love!) your hooves Puglet but I've never had (drats!) the ones Dutch is modeling. My human says they're just too gross and the image of me gnawing on one of those on the oriental rug in the living room (where I do my best chewing) just completely creeps her out.

Mmmmm...I can seriously say I want one of those! My poor belly wouldn't be able to handle one though. Shame. Hehe...Dutch's feet look so tiny compared to the giant hooves. How were you able to resist eating those long enough for mom to get that picture? I just bit into the screen!

Hi Pug,
At first, I was really worried, thought something went horribly wrong, until my Mom busted out laughing! The comic relief is just what everyone needed. Good job!

Puglet! You are hilarious! LOL! It sorta reminded me when my mom tried to put those ridiculous dog-sock-thingys on my feet because we were going to the snow. They made me walk funny... I kept trying to pry them off!

Gosh, we already smell like corn chips. I'm fairly certain that mom will give hooves the kebash. Dang.

Those are some massive hooves! Do they belong to a bison? Or maybe a prehistoric creature

I totally sympathize with all of you who live in vegetable-houses. My human hardly ever eats meat so we get A LOT of carrots. She's not a fan of the icky body parts, but is glad even the icky parts of an animal can be enjoyed.

Oh Emmitt -

Sorry you got sick on the dumb plane. I hope you'll still be able to come to the nationals when they come to California in a few years!

Be careful, Puglet. A veterinary dentist once told my human that "hooves paid [her] mortgage" because they tend to be brittle and we can bite straight down on them, so they tend to break a lot of teeth.

We're lucky, though, because we get the fresh trimmings from the horses when the farrier comes which are OK because they're fresh and softer. There *are* some benefits to being a country Pug, I guess, but I'd much rather live in San Francisco!
