Since I haven't really done anything since me and Frank supermodeled downtown, I guess I'll just tell you more about that.

Ok, so my human said we were going downtown to supermodel and scout locations. She didn't tell me we were also going downtown to do experiments. Pug experiments. Like on me and Frank.

The experiments were supposed to help my human figure out new ways to take pug pictures. Her friend Cyndi came along because she shoots dogs too. Well, Cyndi thought it'd be cute to get pictures of pugs lying on their back. I don't know about you, but I don't like to be upside down. Don't want to lie upside down. Don't like to sleep upside down. And definitely don't want to supermodel upside down.

My human agreed it'd be totally cute to take upside down pug pictures but didn't think it'd be all that easy, knowing how I feel about being on my back and everything. Cyndi wasn't so sure and suggested we try it out. On me.

Uhm, yeah. Here's how that went:

Told you. Upside down is no bueno. So when Cyndi tried to get me on my back, of course I totally resisted. I squirmed and wriggled and refused to bend any of my legs. And it worked. Sort of. My back touched the ground for a maybe a second, but then my upside was right back up where it belongs.

My human thought this was all very funny, but I didn't. And I reeeeally didn't think it was funny when Frank rolled over on his freaking back like it was no big deal. Right in front of Nikon.

Upside down Frank.
Yeah. Thanks Frank. Way to make me look bad. Seriously. I really hope this doesn't give my human any crazy ideas.

Oh, Pug, we gotta give this one to Frank. That's a seriously cute pose! We do admire, though, how you stand your ground!

Way to go Puglet! I thought a wrestling match between you & a giant human would be totally unfair, but you won! =D
Very supermodel-y of you to pass the undesirable poses to Frank ;)
Mom thinks the Frank pic is adorable, but she has no taste.
Love always,
Bruno & Diesel ♥♥♥

What a show off that Frank is! I don't want you to mess up your back fat, so make sure you stay upright! I'm with you, I don't go on my back, I don't want anyone to look at my "bit".

Yep B+D -- I totally won. And Cyndi is supertall. Even taller than my human, and she's practically a giant.

Back Jimmying? Greaaaaaaat. So much for not giving my human any ideas :/

Heya Megan & Jasper ~

I'll pretend you didn't call Frank seriously cute.

Puglet! So glad you're back!

Beulah will NOT roll over. We tried with the trainer in obedience class and it was the only thing she wouldn't do. Not only that, but she also yells at dogs who do roll over. I think she thinks it is embarrassing behaviour.

Jasper, Sarge, and Pepper said...

Sorry, Pug. We still think you're the cutest around! we have a question, though....what about belly rubs? Belly rubs have to be one of our all time favorite things. Jasper will lay on his back all day long if you rub his belly!

My mom's a dog trainer, and she says you won't roll on your back because you're one tough hombre. Yup, that's right.

Arnie - rolls over on his back
Me (Gracie) - will NOT roll over on her back

On Back: Wimp
Not on Back: Alpha Dog!

Wow! Frank totally pug-punked you! But I smell more crazy ideas from your human in the air...stay strong Pug.

Payton wouldn't have cooperated with that idea either, Puglet, so don't feel bad.

Man oh man....Frank out modeled you Pug! I don't like the back action either...but got to give Frank props for that pose!

Side note to all that sent juju and comments about my post yesterday...appreciate all the pug love out there!

Dang it that FRANK!!!! I do NOT like being on my back either! Now my Mommy's gonna get some freaking idea in her head and next thing you know - WHAM, I am gonna be subjected to upsidedownness!
Thanks for resisting Puglet. At least YOU have some self-respect!
Really, Frank! HHAaaarrrruuummmpppHHH!

My Pug thinks it's really comfortable, he sleeps like that all the time! Maybe you should give it another try.

You can't keep your eyes off that Frank for one minute. Last Pug Sunday, our human tried to get us to leave but we wouldn't so she brought out some treats. Well Frank came over Jimmied, rolled over & what ever else he has in that cute bag of tricks. Then he tried to go home with her. We watched in horror as she was almost overwhelmed by his cuteness. You always have to be on step ahead of those uber-cute pugs that will do tricks; humans can't resist.

We don't roll on our back, our human says its not lady like, we don't need to show off our parts. However, every once in a while Tessa will wake up with her legs in the air on her back...oh well. You are both the greatest models, but only you are the SUPERmodel!

I spend a lot of time on my back. My humans call it my "ho" pose. I like cooling my underside like that. Maybe it's the beagle in me.

Dude - we are with you all the way on this one!! Pugs just aren't meant to be on their backs!!

That Frank is such a show-off, albeit a cute show-off :)

Hey Puglet & Frank,
The only one in our house that can do the roll over thing is Eli. He won a contest doing it too.. the little fart.

Me and Ellie prefer to be upright and looking at the world right side up, not upside down.

Bahahah! Frank is da MAN! Sorry Puglet :)

I won't do it either Puglet. My mom thinks its because pug and bug sound so similar and when certain bugs get stuck on their back they can never roll over. That is my fear. that I'll get stuck. Have you seen the puppy french bulldog that got stuck?! Not going to happen to me!
