SMILE LIKE A WATERMELON

I'm SO glad I was right about the half-naked Santas. I knew they would make the world a happier place. Uhm, sorry if anyone or anything got spit on. Tell your human to swallow all drinkables from now on before reading. I'm trying to get my grumpy human in a good mood -- if my plan works, I might be funnier than usual.

Anyway. Since the half-naked Santas made everyone here feel so good, I thought it'd be cool to send them to people who could really really use some happiness. Of course miss grumpy squashed that idea.

ME: Since I can't get on a plane to make the kids in Connecticut feel better, I think we should make them a card.

HUMAN: Aw, Pug. You can be so sweet. What kind of card?

ME: Y'know. Something that might help them a feel happier. Like the half-naked Santas.

HUMAN: Uhm, it's not really ok to send a picture of dudes in their underwear to kids.

ME: Even if the half-naked dude is Santa?

HUMAN: Especially if the half-naked dude is Santa.

ME: Ok. How about some watermelon slices? Dutch thinks they look like smiles.

HUMAN: Watermelons would be good.

So, we put a picture of me and the happy watermelon mural (before it got ruined) on a card and sent it to the kids in Sandy Hook. I don't know if they will ever get to read it, but I hope it makes them smile like a watermelon if they do.

The kids in CT will surely smile like watermelons when they get your card.
And my mom smiled like a watermelon (or some kind of perv) when she saw the fabulous pics of you with almost naked Santas.
Thanks for the smiles, Pug and Dutchy,
Lafayette Lola

Half-naked santas and you might not be appropriate for kids, but they sure make me happy!

Scarlet approves of the watermelon card, all paws up! I, approve of the 1/2 nakked Santas but do agree they aren't for kids. We both approve highly of the watermelon card, that's a wonderful thing to do.

My family is donating to Newtown in lieu of exchanging gifts. We found some links on our local Patch where donations can be made: http://newport.patch.com/articles/how-you-can-help-memorial-donations-for-sandy-hook-victims-cb0fe706?ncid=newsltuspatc00000001

We love you Pug!

Aw Puglet, I know of at least one child in Newtown who will smile about her card. Her name is Lindsay, and she loooooooves her some Sluggo. Saturday was her birthday, so Sluggo sent her a picture of him with a big smile. And if you know anything about Sluggo, he doesn't smile all that often. He spends more time with a worried look on his face. We can't wait to see if your human was able to capture any of his smiles. Anyway, Lindsay has a twin brother who is waaaaaay allergic to dogs, so Lindsay only gets to hang out with Sluggo, she can't have a pug of her own. We hope to see her soon, so that she can smile, and share her smile with the kids in Newtown.

P.S. I have a pretty good idea, that something might happen today that will help your human not feel so grumpy. That is all I am saying.

What's even better than half-nekkid Santas? When those Santas are highlighted by Puglet! We do love the watermelon smile on Dutch, what a great picture. You have the kindest most generous heart Puglet, I just know your card will bring a much-needed smile to the people who get a chance to see your card. Much love from me and the Momster.
