NEW DEMONS

So we've been having a little problem with a bunch of new dogs who moved in down the street. They're kinda evil like the demon Chihuhuas who live on the other side of our fence. Only these demons are bigger, hairier and waaaay louder. And there's three of them instead of two.

Of course Dutch is totally afraid of the new demon dogs. He tries to run into the street to escape them  so my human makes us cross the street before we get to the demon's house. She's afraid Dutch is going to get squashed by a car or something.

But sometimes her gimpy brain forgets. And when that happens, this happens:

I don't care how big or loud or hairy the demons are. I say bring it on! I might look little, but I'm only little on the outside. Inside I'm a holy terror. That's what my human says, anyway.

Even if I wasn't a holy terror on the inside, the stupid demons are stuck behind a freaking fence. I mean, what can they do? Dutch said the lady next door said the demons are part wolf and wolfs are "just scary".

ME: scarier than me?
DUTCH: (silence)
ME: Yeah. I thought so.

Aww. Be brave, Puglet and Dutch! Dogs like that usually need a lot of space to run around, so may this is their first time in a city and they're a bit scared too.

We saw a tail wagging in the back, maybe they just really want to be your friends but haven't figured how not to yell. Maybe they have bacon to share...

Well you could take a basket of treats over to them (wolves and golilocks) and see if you could make a few new friends..you never know when you might need some wolves on your side...plus I have read somewhere...maybe in a ancient cookbook that food soothes the savage beast!

They could eat you, Pug, be careful.

Wow, demon dogs for sure! So glad you're not afraid!

Throw a raw steak over the fence next time you pass by. That should shut them up! I saw the tail wagging and it looks like they are just super excited to meet you! Huskies are a very vocal breed. Way to be brave though Pug!

I'm with you Puglet..I bark and snarl at everything that gets in my way and it drives my human nuts. I trot with my head held high, even the garbage truck is afraid of me. I have to remind my human its my job to patrol our streets to keep the peace.. dogs behind fences don't scare me. Emmitt and Eli are chickens so I protect them too.

Ellie from San Antonio, I might be little but I pack a mighty punch !

What Anne said, husky wolf dogs are very talkative. I worry about the neighbors complaining about dogs like that, do they bark at people going by or just at cute dogs? Can you imagine living or working by them if they do that all day? They might be pretty unhappy locked in that stairwell.

Ghosts and demons?? Puglet it's not Halloween yet! And I didn't comment yesterday but you have pawsome floating skills! I tried to go swimming once and almost drowned even with a lifevest on. Have a bacony weekend!

Wow Puglet,
You are so brave. I tend to be very mild mannered myself. . . but provoke me and there is a scary me that comes out. I believe you saw it one time. That is usually all it takes. . . one time.

You are so brave, just like Tessa (she loves to bark at vehicles, and grass clippings). Pearl is a little more, uh, like Dutch.

OK, so who is KIM????

We get to go to Woofstock this weekend! Our meetup group is having a booth.

Puglet, you have to ask who/what KIM is. Maybe ask your human some unassuming questions??

Looks like you've got some Wolfs and Demon Chiguaguas in the 'hood. There goes the neighborhood!

Oh man....they are demon dogs! You guys were so cute just walking along and them BAM! But they might be trying to get to know you in their LOUD voices...maybe?

At least you can *see* these guys! And hear them. :o)

Puglet!
Maybe you can take them a casserole full of bacony goodness and then when you walk by the next time they will bow. Or maybe they like caribou?

Dear Puglet,

Unfortunately, we have mean dogs in our neighborhood, too! Their humans should be ashamed of themselves!!!
