THANK YOU, MARTIN LUTHER

The radio man said today is a federal holiday to celebrate Martin Luther King. So I told my human we should honor Dr. King's fight for freedom by turning off the stupid computer and running free on the beach for a little while.

It's warm, sunny and my human's brain is jello - so she actually said yes. Here's proof I saw the light of day AND that I can catch (or at least run with) a tennis ball in my mouth. And not a wimpy little pug-sized tennis ball either. That's a real, labrador retriever sized ball I've got stuffed in my face.

Oh, and no comments about how dumb I'd look as a Frenchie, please. Dutch the skinny-necked fashion police already told me how "so *not* flattering" the pointed ear look is on me.

Whatever.

Happy MLK Day everyone.... remember to run free.

Puglet! What a cool picture--it looks like you're running through the desert!

We don't call them Frenchie, we call pugs like that, fruit bats! LOL!!

And way to go, playing with the regular big dob tennis ball!! Super awesome!!!!
Hugs to your human and her jell-o brain.

Puglet,
You, Dutch and your human are so awesome honoring Dr. Martin Luther King today; and mom said Dr. King would be very proud of that Labrador-sized ball you're carrying in your mouth. Fun stuff!

Love,

Lucy

Fruit bats, Buddy? Explain that one to me sometime, please. Puglet, oh how I envy your having access to that beach and warm weather! I'm so happy you got to enjoy it. And it had to be good for your human as well. Good for her!!

You are SO lucky, Puglet, to be able to run outside, basically with only your pug fur. Gus and I have to wear fleece coats, and even then we can't stand to be out very long in 25 degree weather. That's a great pix, too. Can't wait until our Guardian takes lessons from your human! (which our Guardian says won't be until the weather is really, really warm again.)

Yep, jealous doesn't even begin to express my feelings as I write (well, dictate) this hunkered down listening to the wind scream outside. You'd think by the sound of things we lived in the artic! At least the dusting of snow we had has melted. So Pug, please run free a little extra for me!
Love,
Payton

Yeah, I guess I do kinda look like one of those fruit bat things. But I don't think they're *supposed* to be cute.

Sorry to all you arctic pugs! I barely ever get a chance to wear the skully sweater Noodle + Mochi's mom made for me because I'm usually warm enough in the fur.

The weather here is weird. It was practically HOT on Saturday, really cold and icky yesterday, and today was just nice. I think the sun came back for MLK's day.

We love the look Pug. Me, Romeo, can put my ears straight up and hold them that way without even running. Just mention something like "hungry", "treat" or anything food connected and they go up. I get laughed at a lot, but, hey, I also get food.

Hi Pug. That looks like the dunes of Funston. So jealous, we stayed home today.
Love the photo, we'd be happy to call you an honorary frenchie for the day, Lol.

Puglet, Dutch can't help being a fashionista, everything looks good on him and he's naturally slender. You look adorable as a frenchie, very euro.

Hi Puglet
It was sure nice yesterday. Mommy #1 was home from school and I laid on her lap and played in the back yard with her. It was perfect. I understand cold and rain are on the horizon, though. Yuck.
Love Noodles
PS I don't get to wear those awesome sweaters either. Last year when our heater was broken and the temps really cold I did, though.

Sorry Pug, have to say that at first glance at the picture today it does look like a Frenchie and I wondered "oh, who is that dog". Sorries!!!
It is a great action shot and so happy you got to enjoy some fresh air. It's nasty here today, just rain, but means no walkies tonight. Mom doesn't walk us in the rain :(

Hey Tobee + Zoey!

Yep, Funston Dunes! My human said I needed a workout :/

How come pointed ears look supercute on you, but I just look like a fruit bat?!?

THE PUGLET said...

Hey Eddie!

You just need gravity. It makes everything faster. Unless you're running up a hill, then it just makes breathing kinda hard.

Frodo + Co,

Weather rumors say it's going to rain here for EIGHT DAYS. My human said something about building an ark.

No clue. I think she's finally lost it.
