I think my human has completely lost it. She's been super weird and insanely gimpy lately, but today I caught her being full-on crazy. And its kinda freaking me out.
It happened at a place called Borrowlenses. It's where she goes to play with new Nikon stuff. I usually love going to Borrowlenses. Its full of dudes who all love me, there's usually unattended pizza (or some other tasty eatable) in the back room, and they've got more Nikon stuff than God.
What's not to like about all that?
Well. Today everything at BL was as awesome as ever... until my human started talking to one of the dudes about cameras. This happens whenever she's around other camera people and it's usually not a problem. When my human is SANE. But she is obviously not sane at the moment because the camera they were talking about was a C-A-N-O-N and that is so *not* normal.
Oh, and by *talking* I mean happy, excited talking. Like, if humans had tails they would have been wagging a mile a minute... all because of a stupid C-A-N-O-N.
I tried to stop the crazy-talk by showing them how much I love Nikons. One of the BL dudes even took my picture (with a Canon!). But my human was so busy petting a new Canon, I don't think she even noticed. It's all very strange and a little scary. What if she gets rid of Nikon? If she would abandon Nikon, there's no telling what else she'd do. I mean, Dutch could be next.
PS: HAL is getting a new brain or heart transplant or something and the Droid blogger app thingy is stupid. It waits like 3 years to put my stuff on the internet, or just doesn't. Arghh.

hmm yestarday our mom bought Nikon :) we think that she thinks that having a Nikon will let her do as great photos as your Human does, which shows how crazy she is :) and one day after bit shoping she reads that your Human is waggin her invisible tail about Canon:) we told her that she has best models ever so every camera will work :) and great posing Pug !! even if it's for Canon ;) have a great weekend Pug and Dutch and Miss Amanda :)love PT

Whats to worry about, N-I-K-O-N or C-A-N-O-N, you are sooo photogenic it won't matter what your human takes your picture with.
As for Dutch going somewhere nah we don't think so. But be careful if you keep eating poo your human might bring home another pug... maybe even a black pug like two of us.

I would be worried too Puglet. If mom buys a Canon then she will have to buy all new lenses too! You know what that means don't you? Less kibble money for you and Dutch.
Being a Nikon person myself I am aghast that your mom would even put a Canon in her hands! Let's hope it was just what Meredith said that your mom just wanted to make sure Nikon was better than Canon.

At the camera store my mom goes to, they have a HUGE photo of the new Canons in boxes that arrived this week. They seem pretty excited about it.
Don't worry about her upgrading in the pug and dal department. You upgrade to improve, and the 2 of you are already the best!

I have a feeling it really doesn't matter what name the camera goes by as long as you are the one it's looking at. Hope you at least got the poo off your chin before you posed...Dutch probably doesn't care what name the camera has because he gets freaked out by it's evil eye...which is much better than the stink eye any day of the week.

Pug I would not worry at all, adding a new Canon, along with Nikon, means DOUBLE the pictures of you and therefore DOUBLE the eatables! So do not worry your photogenic little head about it, this just means your human wants to take even more pictures...of you of course:)

Oh geez Puglet ... the things you worry about certain keep our mom laughing. She said that if you're going to advance your career to Super Star Status, you will need to learn to work in front of any and all cameras so get use to it now.

Puglet I'm gonna let you in on a little secret - C-A-N-O-N has a better lens than N-I-K-O-N so you, Mr. Uber Supermodel, will look even BETTER, SHARPER! Think about the possibilities! Trust your human. She is, after all, the one who makes the magic happen. And whether it is N-I-K-O-N or C-A-N-O-N doesn't really matter.
Not BACON, on the otherhand. . . that matters BIG TIME!

I agree I LOVE my Nikon!! I just wish I knew how to use it half as well as your human does! But don't fear the Canon, as long as your in front of the lens it doesn't matter what kind of body it has you'll always be the supermodel!!
Hi Pug! I'm not in the know about any sort of camera rivalry since mom isn't a professional picture taker, but I wouldn't worry. You look good in every photo, NIKON, CANON, and even DROID. And like others said, more equipment means more modeling opportunities! Have a fun weekend.

Uh, since I know nothing about cameras I don't get the fuss here so will just say it's all good, as long as the one she uses takes lots of photos of you and Dutch you shouldn't worry at all!
Oooh, maybe your mom and my mom can figure out canon together...although, your mom already has mad skills and my mom is still a bit overwhelmed by the new-to-her camera.
Once my mom's back can move again, let's go be models for canon together!

No need to worry, Puglet. I read on the internets that Nikon and Canon are very similar. My 'rents have a Canon and it works very well. Just as long as your humans attention to this Canon doesn't taken any attention away from you (unless you're eating poo again, in which case, the less attention the better).

I would be worried Puglet becaust two cameras doubles the chances that your hu-mom will catch you eating poo again! Can you go "cold turkey" and just step away from it?
Wow Puglet it's good to see your mom is feeling better. Don't feel threatened by Canon, you could be new best friends. And I'm sure Nikon would find a nice new home. Either way, you are a superstar! Not all change is bad. So don't you worry your cute little puggy butt off!
