BOX OPEN, STILL TREELESS

So, I finally got my human and her thumbs to open the giant box from amazon. And it didn't have a tree in it at all - just some stupid UFO looking thing that's supposed to keep my human from hibernating or something.

My human was excited, but I wasn't. I mean, I'm glad amazon sent her the UFO light, but that still meant no tree for me. We went for a hike so my human's brain could breathe and there were lots of fresh pies to eat, blah blah blah. But I didn't want pies. I wanted a tree. A tree with eatable ornaments, just like my human promised.

I don't want to keep bugging my human about still not having a tree. But she's been so crazy-busy and soooooo gimpy lately that I'm worried it will be next year before she remembers to get us one and I'm pretty sure they don't sell Christmas trees in January.

Today's picture of me Jimmying in Santa's chair is supposed to be a hint, but I'm not sure she'll get it. What do you do when you REALLY need/want your to human to do something but you don't want them to think you're being a pain in the you-know-what?

Oh Puglet...I can't believe the tree wasn't in there and you still don't have one, so sad! Well, what I do when I want something, I follow my human everywhere she goes till she is sick of me and then I get what I want! It works for me quite a bit. Of course that is after I do "the look" and we all have "the look" so those are my two tricks and maybe they will work for you. You so deserve a pug size tree for all the stuff you have to put up with regarding the 1K pug stuff...tell her that!

She just started aqua aerobic and really doesn't want any of these so he gets wath he wants! Fredzik is smart ! hugs PT

Do what we pugs do best; when we want something really bad: give them that intense but extrasupercute "look" that says please give me what a I want & when that doesn't work do the same to the next person who will always give in, then the first human feels guilty and gives you something to. Get somebody else to get you a tree. We know about a zillion DP followers that will do it & if we ask our human she'll do it for sure especially since she feels guilty for putting Phoebe in the cone of shame.

Hey Puglet,
Who cares if you are a pain in the butt you were promised a tree with eatables and you deserve your tree.
We say pester the beejeebers out your human, drive her crazy, bark if you need to, follow her around, get in her way, do "the look" that us pugs have perfected. And if that doesn't work, ignore her..really when she wants your attention go the other way, play hard to get, Ellie is good at ignoring our mom it must work cause a little ignoring gets us cookies.

If all else fails, Russian Christmas if January 7th, maybe you'll have your tree by then.

Puglet,

I have to say that we have learned a lot from our 2 year old human siblings...We learned if you really want something you just need to whine and beg until your human says she can't take it anymore and gives in. Don't worry about being a pain in the you know what...apparently it will get you what you want everytime.

Puglet, you look so sad there that I want to fly out to SF and buy you a tree, really.

When Miss Bossy Pants Scarlet wants something she sits on the arm of her chair and yells at me. She keeps making her racket until I simply succumb to the pressure, which generally doesn't take long. Your human must have a will of steel to resist your Jimmy. Should I send Scarlet out to help? She's quite persuasive.

No tree yet??? There's only 10 days left!!! I like to sit at mommy's feet and cry. And then when she moves, I follow her and cry. Then I give her THE EYES and cry. She says that noise "drives me [HBO word] crazy!!!" do she usually gives in. Be persistent, Puglet. If you can outlast the humans, you'll get your way all the time. ;)

Puglet, a promise is a promise, and we don't think that should be next year either, but before Christmas 2011!!! Everyone is super busy, but organization is the key.

Dear Puglet,
I'm sorry you're sad about no tree, but have a cookie in my honor! Today is my eighth birthday. I remember when you used to celebrate Whelp Days. I haven't seen them mentioned in quite awhile now.

Dear Puglet:
Here are some tips from Ollie and Chistery the pugs Royale.
Sit very still, staring intently at your human. Let your eyes fill with tears until they roll down your pug face until your human relents.
Get on their lap and lick their face into submission. Chewing on their ears is also acceptable. Do NOT:
Jump on the dining room table constantly; lick their pillow until it's completely wet; fart in the sheets. Good luck!

Pug... what is the UFO light thingy? Does that work for my mama's gimpy brain too?
You do not need a tree to have nice holidays... all you need is extra food. Yes, agree it is nice to have a tree.... we had one, but I peed around the tree, so it is in our backyard.

Amen

Looks like everything has been covered, the eye stare, the tail droop, and the whine/whimpering. If these don't work you have one tough human there. We are sure you will have a great Christmas regardless of a tree.

Oh Pug,,, you look so sad! When we were little kids Santa would bring the tree trains and presents on Christmas Eve while we were sleeping. Maybe you will wake up Christmas morning to a big surprise.

Hi Pug,

I don't have a tree either. Mom says ones not going up because we are going on a big plane to see my Grandpa. I feel your pain.

Hugs,
