A. P. B !!

Be on the lookout for this pug (the one on the left!)

Before I get to the bacon, I need to put out an APB for a missing pug in Sacramento. I saw his face on a telephone pole. LOTS of telephone poles.

I saw the poles two weeks ago when we were visiting my friend Rupert and his mom. She was showing us cool places in her neighborhood to play with Nikon when I saw the signs. Then a man in a store came outside and told our humans that they better watch out for us because a pug had just been dog-napped.

I guess some crazy lazy took this pug from his human and when his human tried to stop her, she freaked out. People thought the man was trying to hurt the crazy lady but all he wanted to do was save his pug. I think the man even got arrested or punched or something? Not sure. All I know is the man wasn't able to stop the pug napper, his pug is gone and the whole thing made us all really sad.

I guess it's been more than a week since this happened and hopefully this pug is back with his man now. But just in case he's not and you live near Sacramento, please be on the lookout for an 11 year old pug who misses his man.

Hear that Sacramento Pugnapper? The whole entire internet knows about you now. There is no place to hide. Give Rudy back to his people. Like, NOW.

a week ago we got new tags with our mom phone number, so if we would have lost, The Finder would call our mom and make her heart beat again. But we guess pugnapper would never call :( this is soooo sad, so you stupid pugnapper, even Poland knows you now, so just like Pug said, give Rudy back or.... we don't know what can happen but it will be BAD ! that poor pugs dad, how sad for both of them. Hope they find the crazy pug napper soon. We have microchips plus our tags so no napper can claim us if the vet scanned our necks, not that our mom let's us get far away from her since our friend boozer was dog napped out of our backyard when we were tending him once for his mom. It was really scary but we found him and got him back.

I really, really hope the pug and his man have been reunited. Kidnapping someone's dog or cat or hamster or any companion animal, reptile, insect or anything, is as much a crime as kidnapping someone's child.

(Puglet, if you don't yet know about Payton, you need to get over there ASAP.)

That just isn't right to have some one DOG NAP a pet. Just so wrong. I hope Pug and Pop are reunited by now. Thanks for bringing this to our attention Puglet.

Do all the vets in the area know about this? If the crazy lady takes Rudy to the vet as a new patient/client the vet can scan Rudy if he has a microchip and can possibly get him back to his dad that way! My mom works at a vet and they once found a dog from texas in tennessee who had lost his owner. If the vets in the city are aware of the issue perhaps they can be on the lookout for strange pugs in the clinic and do a quick scan! have rudy's dad get the word out if rudy has a microchip! good luck rudy and family! Me and my family are sending all our good thoughts and juju!!!!

kisses,
bosco

Oh no, my heart is breaking for this man and his pug and I feel a bit physically ill that this happened. What a horrible woman. She should be in jail for life. It's the same thing as if she kidnapped a child. My pug is my child. I hope to god he is back with his pug by now. I would be lost without my pug Oliver Meatball. I really don't know what I would do if I lost him. He is my right hand man. I guess we really really do have to be careful of who we trust. I get nervous when I am walking my dogs and strangers want to pet them and ask questions etc. I used to think I read too much news stories and that I am paranoid but now I don't think I am

Has anyone heard if there has been an update to this story? This pug also looks like my Sadie pug and I too would be beside myself. I NEVER leave my Sadie in an unlocked car or anywhere else someone could snatch her. It's a tough thing to think about, but there are bad people out there, and people wouldn't necessarily steal a grown Rottweiler but they might grab a Pug.
