So I was at our local Pet Food Express yesterday stocking up on bully penis when I heard someone say "Is that Puglet?". I didn't know the guy who said it, but he totally knew me. Said he read The Daily Puglet in a newspaper called Bay Woof and recognized me from the article.

I haven't felt famous since last year's Green Pug video and the extra attention felt really really good. It felt even better when the lady behind the counter asked if she could have my pawtograph.

Heck yeah! Famous.

Humans go kinda nuts over famous people, so I thought maybe I could use my fame to do something good. Y'know, like score some free snacks for friends. So I asked if I could please have something edible to give away here on the DP. Y'know, give back to everyone who helped make me a star.

(That's you)

The nice Pet Food Express man said yes and picked out some awesome low-fat, breath freshening treats (perfect for pugs). But the ingredient list wasn't very Food Revolutionary so I hunted around for something a little more... real.

It was kinda tough to find something that everyone here can eat (including the kitties), but I think Stella & Chewy's are eatable for everyone. They have about six different kinds of cow in them and are crazy tasty. INSANELY tasty.

I'm not famous enough (yet) to score more than one bag of free snacks, so I'll let The Randomizer pick which lucky someone gets to get them.

Please remember to follow the Random rules:

* one comment each so my human doesn't have to do any counting

* if you're anonymous, say your name in your comment

* comments close TONIGHT at 2am San Francisco time
* come back tomorrow to see who won

I'll totally be reading all your comments, but won't talk back until tomorrow so The Randomizer doesn't get confused.

PS: I totally forgot to check the calendar (thanks Phoebe & Zoey :)

* * *

Thanks to Buddy in Houston, Texas and Marty in Webster, New York TODAY IS DOUBLE SPECIAL. Happy Whelp Day guys!

Dear Puglet,

My name is Puggy and I am a 4.5 months old pug in Switzerland. My human loves your blog, but the annoying thing is that here we don't have all the tasty food you talk about in your daily adventures. Would love it once to be able to try it!

Hi Puglet,

We've been following you for quite a while it seems. We'd love to be considered for the chance to win some treats!

Lots of love from Los Angeles,

Are you kidding, Pug? You are a total celebrity! I mean come on...did you see how natural you looked in your food revolution poster on yesterday's post? I know you could take over San Fran if your human would let you!
PS. My mom says that she just bought me a big bag of treats, so if the randomizer thingy picks me, please give the booty to another cool Daily Puglet reader.
PPS. My mom alway wanted to let everyone know that she took over my blog today and made her first PDE post.

Izzie here,

I'm a 2.5 year old lady Pug in Canada and i really admire your fame. One day i hope to be famous like you because of Agility or the blog my food lady writes about me.

But alas Canada is a vast place and the area we live is not densely populated and most folks don't care about Pugs, even the famous ones.

We read you every day and would love to win the treats with the 6 kinds of cow in them. I really like my treats but mum says to keep me fit for agility i only get them occasionally or when we're training (but i trick her you see and always pester her for training so i can get more yummies!)

Anyways hope the randomizer picks me!

Lindsey said...

Dexter and Milton in Spokane WA read you everyday and we would love to taste some of the tasty things you get to eat!!

Hi Puglet,
Your becoming famous! Pretty soon the pappratzi will be following you around.. we can see it all now, your face & name in lights, your own private jet, female dogs vying for your attention.. Ok, we got a bit carried away. But you did look cute with that bag of treats hanging from your mouth.
Ellie, Emmitt and Eli... your pals from San Antonio

Oh, forgot to tell you, mom fed Eli some sort of cheddar cheese treats in class, he pooped in the house during the night. Serves her right for not making him chicken!

I think you're pretty famous. I always talk about you at the dog park to my friends...

Well if that randomizer thing happens to pick me - I promise to share the treats with my cat brother (even though I share EVERYTHING with him but I'm not allowed to play with his toys (too small) or go near his poop box.)

Since you are that famous, maybe you could sell your pawtographs (on one of your gorgeous pic.)??? I think that all your fans, here would like to have one. And all the profits could go to the worthy cause :)Please think about it, I'll buy it for sure :)

As you know Puglet, we live in Poland (which is very far from you) so if the randomizer would picks us, please give this crunch to one of our friends here :)hugs and kiss Beautiful!!
