FUN FOR ALL

I hope everyone had as good a weekend as I did (here in America it was a long weekend so today is technically a Monday). If you missed yesterday's post, you missed one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten in my whole entire life. No joke, so be sure to check it out (and then beg your people to make it for you).

My human took some crazy pictures of me eating my new #1 favorite eatable, but I'm not supposed to share them until everyone is caught up. I guess it's rude to eat before everyone else gets their food or something? No idea. But I had plenty of other fun over the weekend, so I'll tell you about that instead.

My human is feeling 100% human again, so we got to hang at the beach with the Crazy Labrador Brothers & The Man. Me and Dutch were kinda nuts from being trapped inside all week (the CLB are always nuts) so we ran around in circles for like an hour. Like headless chickens, according to The Man.

I'm pretty sure I broke the land speed record for pugs. You can't really tell from the picture, but I am totally faster than a Labrador.

I am also stronger than a Labrador. Seriously. My human says pound for pound, I am 3x stronger than the Crazy Labrador Brothers. Combined. Me and CLB #2 (Jack) have some, uhm, issues with who's on top and killed two toys trying to figure it out. You can probably guess who won (and it wasn't a Labrador).

Wowsers. Looks fun. We went to Florida over the weekend but no beach time since it was too hot for pugs :( So I'm totally jealous.

I just love, love, love that 2nd picture! I totally think that it looks like you could have broken that land record! I'm glad you had such an awesome time at the beach. Like Minnie, I didn't get to spend much time outside since it was too hot, but I did enjoy some of that MOST YUMMY no-cream you told us about yesterday! My mom says she is saving the pictures until next week.
Have a most wonderful day Scamper, Guy Noir, and Annie!! I still have some no-cream left too, so I'm definitely going to ask for more of that to celebrate with you!
Love,
Payton

Love your pictures Pug!! You're true warrior ;) Look like you and LCB had a great time!! Unfortunately just like Minnie Moo and Payton, we cannot have such fun, because here in Poland is also extremely hot, so we also jealous but happy for you and Dutch :)

Hugs to Scamper, Guy Noir and Annie!!!

Hi Puglet,
You really had some fun. It was way too hot for us to be running outside so our mom put our pool in the back yard and we had fun pool time.

Our vet said that pound for pound pugs are the best. Strong and lots of us are lightening fast.

When Ellie's leg isn't bother her she can kick brother Emmitt's butt running, Eli brings up the rear..but thats where he needs to be.

The cream recipe is printed and will be the next treat we get.

Happy Day to Scamper, Guy Noir and Annie.

Ellie, Emmitt and Eli from San Antonio, TX

Jealous... we got no ocean in MN. it was in the 40th when we got up on Sunday, didn't even get to 70, then thunderstorm hit, tornado warning (no touchdown), the temp went up to almost 90 yesterday. Currently 69.
Scamper, Guy Noir, Annie & Per-Li-Mae and Daisy, Happy happy days~

Hey Puglet,
I am so happy you had a great weekend and your Human is feeling much better! I was wondering if you could put out a Juju APB out for me to all your awesome fans? I was getting a bath this weekend and I slipped in the tub! I now have a herniated disc and my back legs aren't working like they should be. My human has been a mess crying and stressing about me. I have to carried around all the time which isn't too bad but she is really sad that I am hurt. I have to take steriods for a week and the no physical activity for a whole month. Lets just hope I don't have to have surgery. So you if you send some good JuJu to Sunny South Florida to Trunks that would AWESOME!!!

Thanks,
Trunks and Human (Demarus)

Trunks, I'm thinking lots of positive, non-surgery thoughts and sending them your way right now! I had a bulging disk once and luckily it corrected itself after a few weeks, so there is hope...no jumping and just stay off the furniture.
Love,
Payton

Trunks,
I'm sending some CBSJ (Canadian Beagle Super Juju) to you & your human right now. Stay strong and positive - you are both in our thoughts!

Puglet,
Great to see your pack enjoying the beach and your human feeling well. You definitely look like a pug in charge (as it should be).

Happy Day Scamper, Guy Noir & Annie! I'm going to get a frozen PB kong - it's over 100 today with the humidity and we may break the record.

Trunks,
I hurt my back in 2008, herniated discs (3) and I lost the use of my back legs. My accident was slamming into the table in Agility practice.

My mom took me to our vet and he gave me intravenus steriods for 48 hours, and medicam (sp) for swelling. Took 8 weeks for me to get back to normal almost, but now I can go on long walks and run (a little wobbly), no more agility though wah!

My mom still crys about me too. Tell your mom you will be OK, it just takes long to feel better.

OH and make sure you don't jump off furniture or the beds, thats a bit no no.

Ellie from San Antonio sending your MEGA JUJU from the heart !!!

Wow, Puglet! That looks amazing!

Oh Trunks! I'm sending special Scoutie juju. My mom says she will be uber careful from now on when I get a bath. She never thought about my squatty little body slipping and getting hurt. Get well soon!

Oh Puglet...so glad you and Dutch got out of the house! We just hate being inside so I know you enjoyed your time at the beach. It was hot in Dallas so we headed to the lake and I got my swim on! I do love to swim! My mom will put the life jacket on me and says it's for safety, but I can totally swim without it! Not sure why she's so scared!

Sending Big (cuz everything is big in Texas) juju out to Trunks...hate hearing that news and hope things get better soon!

You are always doing fun stuff, Puglet. I need to hang out with you and Dutch. Do you think I could stay with you if I come out to SF?

I am sending healing vibes to Trunks. Stubby had an angry disc and Momma said it hurt him real bad.

Pee-s: Momma says not only are you faster and tougher than the labs but that you are also way cuter.

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. Our humans took us to the Hyatt Lost Pines resort in Bastrop TX which is a pet friendly resort and I mean really pet friendly! They even have a HUGE dog that lives at the hotel. He was a little bit scary to us pugs, but seemed nice. This is the first overnight trip we have got to go on (with the exception of the lake house) so we were pretty excited and had lots of fun adventures. For the TX pugs out there, you have got to check this place out. We would be interested in hearing about any other pet friendly destinations you guys have been to. Puff and Fergie Ferguson

Dude! You can totally have all the juju we got. The 3Es are right about steroids - they can be super helpful. Paw and all other things crossed for no-surgery.

Everyone else who lives in hot places >

It's FREEEEEEEEZING here in San Francisco. And wet. And gross. My human had to dig out the plug-in toasty blanket for Dutch last night. BRRRRRRR!

Hi Pug!
Oh my goodness, what a fun weekend you had @ the beach. Wish I knew how to share some of the warmer weather from Austin. Summer hibernation process has arrived.
