So yesterday my human says to me, Hey Pug, want to do something exciting? Uhm. Remember what happened last time she said this? I ended up getting ignored because of a puppy. Not so exciting.

ME: will Ernie be there?
HUMAN: no, he still doesn't have all his shots.
ME: will there be ANY puppies?
HUMAN: not making any promises.

I really didn't like the sound of that. But I was superbored and figured I might score a guilt cookie if we ran into any puppies. And I had to pee.

A few blocks later, we were at the farmer's market. It hasn't been around in awhile so I guess that's kinda exciting. At least when you're superbored.

It almost got exciting when I heard someone say BACON, until I found out they were really talking about something called BOK-CHOY. Don't worry, I didn't know what it was either. It's green, leafy and less exciting than a puppy.

The produce police didn't like me breathing on the Bok stuff and my human got in trouble for letting me get so close to the vegetables. Like I was really going to eat them!?!

Of course she felt really bad and bought the bundle of Bok my foot kinda almost touched. If anyone knows what to do with Bok, please let us know. Pretty sure my human will be eating it for days. Maybe even weeks.

Imagine if my foot kinda almost touched bacon!?!

Bok-choy is delicious.. or so my mom says. Especially the baby kind!My mom stirs fries it in a little bit of coconut oil with coconut aminos (tastes just like soy sauce, but no soy.. so better for you).
We live across the street from a Sunday farmers' market. No dogs there, either. Bummer, dude.

You're so lucky your farmers people are back! In NJ they don't come to our town until June. I love going to them, some of them have treats! I've had bok choy, it's OK. I'm more of a green bean pug. Which my friends at the markets save for me.

Oh man!! Our momma cooks that bok stuff up all the time!! She's into stir frying it with chicken or fish to eat over rice. She also likes to add it to soup. In fact, when she was a kid she used to like to cook up the ramen noodle things. Instead of using the flavor packet, she would cook them in chicken broth and throw bok choy in. We're with you though, we'd much rather have BACON!!!

Stir fry, with bacon. Love, Daisy

I've chomped on bok-choy but I'll eat anything.
Claim something more tasty next time. Think of it as a tactical mission: search and touch or better yet search and lick!

I don't think Thumbs would let you get close enough to almost touch bacon at a farmer's market. She knows you'd scarf it faster than she could blink! Dream on, Pug!

Use it just like Kale... mild flavor, we love them! And it's good for you : )

Bok-choy is good but Scarlet says bacon is WAY better. Your human needs to get you bacon STAT.

Well, Puglet, you can stir-fry it, *or* you can do what my former housemate did and just eat it raw with peanut butter. Yes, really. I know it sounds kind of strange, but it's actually quite tasty.
