PITYING FOOLS, YEAR 3!

 Still Pitying fools!

Last week was NOT a good one here at Casa de Puglet. Any time an entire week (week!) goes by without hearing from me, things are not good. I mean even with the other 999 pugsanity, I've never ever missed a whole entire week. Especially right before the 3 year anniversary of the Daily Puglet.

It all started on Tuesday when my human was tying her shoe. Or trying to tie her shoe. I don't think it got tied before she fell over. Yeah, like tipped and fell over. Kinda like a dead cockroach, except alive and human.

I thought it was kinda funny until she didn't get up. Then when she did get up, she acted all weird and wobbly. Funny, but not in a ha ha way. I guess it was really hard for her to walk because she spent the rest of the day in bed staring at the ceiling to keep the room from moving.

No idea.

That went on for awhile and totally freaked us all out. The doctor said it's not Lupus because my human passed that test already but isn't 100% sure what's wrong. I guess one of her eyes is dilated but the other isn't and that's weird. I also heard her say something about Benign Something-with-a-P Something-else-with-a-P Vertigo.

I stopped listening after the 'benign' part because I know benign is good, but Google says Vertigo has something to do with rocks in your ears messing with balance. All I know is it made my human walk funny and stare at the ceiling for 3 days.

Juju must have found its way to my human because when she woke up on Saturday the room wasn't moving anymore. And it hasn't moved since. She's afraid to tie her shoes - just in case that wakes up the rocks in her ears - but I think the Juju totally fixed the rocks. I mean, anything that can cure cancer can totally fix ear rocks.

Kinda scary, but one really good thing happened during the 3 days of ceiling-staring. About halfway through Day 2, my human told me it's not good for her to be away from the Daily Puglet. She says it and you and everything Daily and Puglet is her rock (not the ear kind). It's been that way for 3 whole years and even though things have been crazy lately, that can't stop now. Definitely not now.

Tomorrow, we celebrate year #3.... with baaaaaacon!

I'm sending big bunches of juju to your human, Puglet. Let her know that we are excited about 1,000 Pugs but totally understand how much hard work it is and that sometimes things get crazy, delayed, and messed up. Tell her not to worry and rest up.

Love and bacon to you and your human:-)

xoxo,

Scoutie

Stress, that's gotta be it. You just snuggle with your human, and pour out the pug juju (we're sending pug, poodle and cat juju, but I'm not too sure what cat juju will do, be forewarned). Bacon...that will cure all ills (btw did you see the April Fool's Fresh Step bacon cat litter thingie...)

Congrats on three amazing years~

But there will be someone missing tommorow:( Mom is leaking again:( our sweet Payton won't be here to celebrate with us :( she should be here, she always had something nice and funny to say :(

Yikes! Vertigo is NO fun! I've had it and DON'T like it. Puglet, you should learn how to tie your human's shoes for her ~ or get her some with velcro straps. OK, scratch that. Flip flops are good.

Anyhoo, we're glad to have you back in the action! We've been sending & will keep sending juju!

Puglet, one of my humans has vertigo...fortunately he found a really good doctor that taught him excercises to trick his brain into not feeling woozy. Your human can get through this, especially with you and Dutch to help her out.

Wow, that's pretty scary stuff! Did you take advantage of her falling down to lick her with your poo breath? I totally would have!

Anyway, I swear there is something odd going on in the area lately. One of my kids and now my grown up person have had crazy itchy rashes (they called it hives) on their bodies in the last week. My grown up has fat, red fingers kind of like your human had, only other parts of her are red too. No one has fallen down yet, I'll let you know if they do.

Meanwhile I send all my puggy juju to you and Amanda. Take care of her for us, please.

Ahem, what kind of security word is anallyme?

Yikes! That was scary. Vertigo is NO joke, so my human tells me. Sending your mom good juju and prayers. Happy early 3 year blogoversary!

Daily Puglet is a rock for me too! Feeling good is top priority though. Your human is the second person I 'know' with vertigo just in the past week...what the heck is going on?? I've had it. Makes you feel major funky. Anyway, Happy #3 Pug. Take care of yourself and your human. We will all be hangin' around for the bacon to arrive.

Sorry your human has BPPV - I have it too and it's no fun when it strikes. There are exercises she can learn to help keep the 'rocks' in her ears where they are supposed to be.

Pray that everything returns to normal at Casa de Pug. Knew there was something not good going on when there were no posts.

My week was in total turmoil. I had to send my sweet Romeo to the Rainbow Bridge March 24th. He was diagnosed with oral melanoma March 19th, and it grew so fast that there was no treatment for it and in a few days time I had to give him peace.

Happy 3rd Anniversary Puglet. I love your blog :)

So sorry to read your human is dizzy. I too suffer from time to time. A few years ago I got so bad my girls called 911 and off to the hospital I went. I wish I remember what medicine they gave me, but one was to stop the dizzy and one to stop the nausea. It helped, but I really think the only cure is time. But it sucks while you are in the middle of a spell. Hope you are feeling better.

Bo from Sacramento says:

Puglet: My mom says your mom needs to see an ear, nose and throat doctor so he/she can teach her how to do Epley or Semont maneuvers to help balance the rocks in her ear system. Mom works for ENT docs - she says stress can be a huge cause of BPPV. And we sure know what kind of stress your mom has been under lately.

You and Dutch should smother her with licks and kisses - that always makes my mom feel better.

Tons of juju from our hours to yours. Get well soon Amanda - we miss you and Puglet/Dutch.

Puglet, Dutch and Amanda,
I am the humom for the pug pack in Gladstone, Oregon. You are my rock too. My son told me yesterday he is so glad I found The Daily Puglet, because I get so much enjoyment from it and it is good for me. I'm really glad you think we are all good for you too. Many prayers from our house to yours for a quick recovery. Wish we were all closer, so we could pitch in a help with the 1000 Pug project and anything else that needs done. (doing the dishes, taking out the bacon garbage etc)
So sorry for the loss of Romeo and Payton.

We all missed you, Puglet! Sorry to hear your human had strange things going on with those ear rocks. I'm glad that things are better now. Congratulations on your 3-year blog-iversary! That is quite an accomplishment! And it's ok about missing some days, it happens to all of us - and the funny thing is, I've been seeing your pug mug appear on some other blogs due to your travels for 1000 pugs. Pretty cool!

Sid.
