HELLO

Well, I almost made it here on Friday. I can't remember if my human forgot to click the publish button, fell asleep, had to pee and forgot all about me by the time she was done, or what (probably all of those things). But I'm here now and I guess now is better than never.

Anyway. It's been kind of very sucky around here lately. Dutch can wrap himself in all the pink he wants - I'm cool with that. But this pug doesn't do pink. No matter how good it feels. So remember the other day when I said there are 3 things I wanted to tell you? Well, it's time for Thing #3.

Thing #3 is... kinda weird. But I guess it has the power to make a lot of people feel good and we all know I'm all about that.

THING #3
My human says one way to make sucky stuff less sucky is to turn the suckiness into something good. I say bacon has the power to make things less sucky too, but she says we have to try Thing #3 first.

Step 1: make a list of everyone you love

Step 2: make another list of everyone you love, but don't get to see or maybe don't even talk to

Step 3: get a bunch of stamps, some stuff to write on and somebody with thumbs to operate the pen

Step 4: write something to everyone on your lists. It doesn't have to be a long something. If you have no idea what to say or not a whole lot of time to say it, just say hi (or get these HELLO cards  from Target like we did).

Step 5: put the stamps on the notes and put the notes in a mailbox. Oh, and don't do what my human does and forget to put an address on the envelope. The postal people need to know where your note needs to go.

I know everyone is superbusy getting ready for Turkey Day and Black Day and whatever. My human is so freaking busy trying to get the Other 999's pictures done, we're not even having a turkey day at our house. That's right - no turkey. No pie. No whipped cream. No Day. But we'll totally make time for Thing #3. Because letting the everyones on our list know we're thinking about them is more important than anything --- and if it doesn't make you feel good, you can always eat bacon.

I think of you and your human a lot, if you lived closer to me I would bring you turkey but bacon is still fine. Have a great week!!!!

Pug, might we suggest bacons while writing notes of love?! Two beautiful things are surely bound to be better than one!

We think of you and your human, and Dutch too, everyday and we've never even played together...so when things get sucky, just know you've gots lots of love floating in the air toward you all!

Puglet, we are glad that you are able to see past temporary suckiness and find a way to see the positive. It's really hard to do sometimes, especially when it gets really sucky all at one time.

Don't feel bad about not having turkey. We aren't having any either. Tallulah can't eat anything besides her restricted diet food so we aren't doing anything special. Mom is going to have breakfast, she said. We *might* get some extra apple or banana, but it isn't meat.

PS, you can move our pictures to the back of the list if you need to. We are super patient and understanding.

Yup...

All of the above. We think of you everyday, wish we were closer....and can totally wait for our pics. If you wanna smile, just go replay the youtube video my mom did for you. :) we watched it the other day and it made us smile. Much love.

Hola... what a great idea.
We are not getting Turkey either. They are making turkey and making bunch of sandwiches to shelter, not for us : ( Hope to score some left over...
It is just another day, we are thankful that we do have home and family. Turkey can wait ...

You have such nice paws Puglet, we think you have a future in "hand" modeling.

Aside from no turkey, we hope you have a nice Thanksgiving, even if you just sit down together and relax for a few minutes. Believe it or not, its not about the food, but the love that you share. Although Scarlet says bacon should somehow be involved.

We're ridiculously patient (well, Scarlet not as much), so you can push our pictures back too. They'll be beautiful regardless of when we see them.

What a nice idea, puglet. We're having Turkey with Grammy, then she's going to babysit us while our Mommy and Aunt go to our Uncles house for the weekend. They are going to go to an animal shelter with his family and help pick out a new 4 legged cousin for us. Mommy wants to find them a pug but they already have a big hyper chocolate lab so they will probably get another big goofball dog. Oh, well, at least they will be giving a dog a happy new life!I can't think of a better way to celebrate a holiday season.

I totally think that you should get Bacon on Thanksgiving. Eat some for me, I'm not allowed.

My human is patient and understanding too. She can wait for her pictures, because she says good things come to those who wait...and she knows the pics will be awesome. Why wouldn't they be, they're of PUGS, right?

My human agrees with your idea about cards. She says nothing makes you feel loved more than when people remember you with a smile.

Puglet, You are on my list and I hope to get to see you soon. 1000 Pugs and Work and School just get in the way! My social life has been on hold, too, and I can't wait to get back to hangin' out with my pug friends. Meanwhile, Happy Turkey Day to everyone!

Puglet was unable to get the thumbs to do his bidding. So he called for my thumbs to do his typing for him.
Puglet says he is thankful for all of his pug pals and how awesome they are. Your offers of being to move to the end made his eyes leak.
I think my human is going to try to smuggle some turkey to Puglet and Dutch

Happy thanks giving
Miley

Hi Pug - as my mom told your mom when she took our pictures...there is no rush, get to them when she gets to them. She should be able to enjoy the upcoming holidays (especially if that means making you some tasty bacon!) & spending time with family & friends :)

Hi Puglet,
Please have a good
Thanksgiving and tell your human to have a good one too, and eat plenty of good food, bacon and all. The work can get done later and we will all understand that.
love,

I wish I knew exactly where you live, I'd make my human bring you and your human some food.

I keep thinking there must be something other than words we can do for you and Thumbs (and Dutch), because I'm a pug my first thought is, naturally, food.

We are fine waiting for the pictures too, mostly we want Thumbs to be okay and your lives to be less sucky. I know it makes my humans happy when I get "wabies" and get all wiggly, maybe try a little pug charm? Human smiles and pets make me happier, it's an awesome cycle.

Puglet, that is so sweet! Thanks for the reminder.

Miley...if you want to sneak Pug and Dutch turkey and bacon...count me in too. Pug needs to maintain a certain level of back fat for me to nom on.

Hey everybody on DP - tomorrow on Thanksgiving Day, take just one minutes to say a pray for all those people and pets in the Northeast affected by Hurricane Sandy and then get to the business of being thankful for every.single.great.person/pet/thing in your life!

We love you all ~ Happy Thanksgiving
