LAMB + NASTY APPLES

Remember what I said yesterday about my human not being organized or whatever enough to buy more than one bag of dog food? Yeah. Well, I was right. She totally forgot to buy a bag of food for Dutch. This is how a gimpy brained human works. Or doesn't. Or whatever.

Sucks to be Dutch, right?

My human felt kinda bad that I got new food and Dutch didn't get any food at all. It's been like six years since she picked out our last food, and I guess a lot of things can happen in six years because she found some new food that's safe for spots and might not freak out Dutch's sensitive princess stomach. Lamb and apple something.

Dutch was stupidexcited about the new food - and so was my human. Kinda weird.

ME: why are you so happy about a bag of dog food?
HUMAN: now I won't have to buy two different bags to shut up your poo!
ME: but I love my new food.
HUMAN: well, now you can love your new new food.

I've never had a lamb, but I HATE apples. They're nasty. I reminded my human about the apples and she reminded me that I eat rocks and poo. I don't know what that has to do with anything.

I'll eat anything once. Ok, maybe twice. Or more. Whatever. So I said I'd try the new nasty apple food to make sure it's really nasty - but ONLY if my human promises not to make me eat if forever if it's as nasty as I think it is.

Hi Puglet,
We eat apples but peaches and nectarines are even better and a dab of peanut butter.
Our food is prescription because Emmitt has a stomach just like Dutch. Meat products make him ill.

We'll be waiting to hear your evaluation of the food. The pictures of you and Dutch checking out the new food are beyond cute :)

You don't like bananas, you don't like apples, but you like poo?? Is there a chance you use the wrong end of yourself to eat? It's a big deal around here because there are 3 kids and 4 dogs which makes sharing apples harder, but we work it out. And by work it out I mean I get yelled at for trying to eat all the apples at once.

I hope the new food is good for both you and Dutch.

Scarlet doesn't like apples or bananas either. She does LOVE hotdogs though. Poo, she has not expressed an interest in and I hope, hope, hope she never does.

Oh, and of course she goes cuckoo for bacon and scrambles eggs.

Our human fixes our own food every month and mixes it with a dab of that I/D prescription stuff. We eat rice and turkey meat and peas and carrots and kale. We are so glad our human has thumbs and can make us this treat.

I think our human likes the thumb-made food because we fart less too.

Wow puglet, you sure are complaining a lot about FOOD. Are you sure you are really a pug, or maybe you are the robot?? Pugs around here don't turn their noses up at anything...except maybe raw onions when they hit the floor.

Puglet, how are you not into apples? Did you just randomly pick something you thought you wouldn't like? You, sir, are a pug, and have probably considered eating the remote control at one time or another.

Hey Puglet...you are a PUG, silly. You must uphold our pug reputation of being chow hounds that will eat anything. Otherwise, you might be confused for a West Highland White* terrier (even though you're fawn LOL!).

Just imagine that apples will eventually turn into poo...

*Guardian tells us that Westies are very particular about eating just anything. We like Westies, 'cuz they won't try to grab our food!

My human has had me on Eukanuba Weight Control dog food FOREVER and you know what the representative overweight breed is on front of the package...a Pug! My human says she always knows which dog food is mine because it has my picture on it. I wish they would put my picture on something yummier (like bacon)so she would give me that instead.

A pug's motto is:

Eat first, taste later.

It's true- I'll eat anything (really, anything- even garbage.. and not even the food part.. the actual garbage part). The only thing I spit out is lettuce. But if the human folks are eating it (or anyone or any dog is eating it), I figure it must be good stuff. still not feeling the poo, though.

Scarf now- pay the piper later.

Hey I think I recognize the bag... it's from a Canadian company right?

My dogs eat that too.

Dude, you'd be in trouble at our house. My (used to be poo eating) sister, Lucy, is always on a diet because she has no waist either. So apples and banana pieces are all we get for treats. Well, from Mom, that is. When she's not looking Dad gives us good stuff like bacon and cheese. That might be why Lucy has no waist. Give the apples a try, they might grow on you.

Puglet,

Some of us LOVE apples and try to snag a few bites every day. Miss Trixie, however, just turns her butt to them. Oh well, more for us. We do not like lamb.
