Some days (ok, most days) I don't have much going on. But today I have a whole bunch of stuff to share.

First - I got an email from Hope the pug! You remember her, the pug
with the hurt eye who got left tied to a vet's office? No offense to Jenny, but hearing from Hope was like the highlight of my year. She's been adopted by a family who must already love her a ton because they got her a new blog and everything. If you have a minute, head over and say hi: http://hopethepug.blogspot.com/.

I also totally forgot to tell you about meeting Antigone the Basset Hound. We met her and her human over at the Golden Gate Bridge when they pedaled into town from Chicago. The fog was so thick, we didn't get to do a picture of them riding across the bridge, but we did hang out and snack for awhile.

I can't tell you how nice Antigone the Basset is. Even though I hogged the snacks, she let me sit in The Contraption and everything. I mean, if I had a contraption, I wouldn't let some dog I barely knew anywhere near, let alone in, it. Especially if the dog was a snack hog.

The last thing is news about Flat Puglet. A few flatties have already landed at their first destination and are busy scaring the bejesus out of innocent host pugs (sorry Spencer B - the flat me freaked brother Dutch out too). A second batch will go out today and then my human will have more time to work on the FPP website.

I don't normally get excited about stuff like websites, but flatpuglet.com is SUPER cool. The posts about his travels look like postcards and all of FP's visits will be shown on a map. You'll even be able to track the travels of each FP to see where they end up (technical term: a journey map).

My human says flatpuglet.com is only about halfway done and will have a LOT more info about rescues (and fewer typos) by the time we start hearing back from FP hosts. It will look a lot better when there are actual visits posted -- but I can't wait until then to share... so check it out now and let me know what you think :)

Morning Puglet,
Thanks for the link to follow Hope's blog. I am happy to see she's all better and she looks great in that bed you sent her.
Sounds like you had a busy weekend. I'm glad you got to charm your way into that funny contraption, I personally would have barked at it. I'm working on my FP too.

Wow that Contraption looks really kewl! My mommie wants my daddie to get a contraption so I can go bike riding with them...daddie said he wouldn't be caught dead driving a contraption behind him...mommie is not giving up though!

Oh what a great post today! Lots of great news. As far as the TV thing. Mr. Puggle doesn't respond at all to anything on the TV but a member of his puggle posse does. You can watch the funny video here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ3ks4dBJjo

Keep up the great work Puglet. Can't wait to see the flat Puglet take off. :)

superawesome. We can't wait to hear FP stories.
Your are doing great work. You are a warrior poet; standing up for anyone/dog in need.

Heya everybody~

Thanks for being so nice and saying hi to Hope. Talk about feeling warm and fuzzy!

We tried to get Dutch in the picture too but he wasn't a fan of The Contraption. He thought the grass next to it was tasty though.

That is wonderful news about Hope and Antigone. I'm so glad that Hope has found a new home and I sure she'll be much loved. I'm so happy for Antigone and her campanion having made it so far, what a long trip!

A warrior poet?

Cool! I had no idea you could be both. Glad you like flatpuglet's website. It's made out of something called Wordpress ~ my human says it's like Blogger on steroids. Or maybe it was crack?

Not sure. I just know it's taking my human a little while to figure out how to make it cooperate. But it's not making her swear as much as the glue gun did. I think she hates glue guns more than I hate that dumb Nasonex bee.

PS> Note from human... Two words: Glue Dots. I never thought I'd get so excited about *glue* but oh soooooooooo much better than the evil glue gun. If you ever need to glue materials that don't want to stay glued, go with the dots!!

Wow Puglet,
Today's post is just jammed packed with good stuff..happy endings (Hope & Antigone) and happy beginnings (flatpuglet.com which looks fantastic!).
Being a hound, I just melted when I saw the picture your human took of Antigone. With those big liquid brown eyes and that smashing bonnet, I think my heart skipped a beat.

Hiya Gen & the Foo~

My human has been to almost every state, but never Illinois. I'm very excited for the flat me to see Chicagoland!

PS: I think it's cool that Foo is "the Foo". I get called "the pug" a lot, but don't think that's as cute.

Hi Puglet! You have been so busy! And busy doing great things!

I'm so glad that Hope has found her forever home. It's so cool that she has a bloggie and I'm on my way over there to say hi. It's great that you gave her your bed too.

OMD! That Antigone is too cute. That's so cool that you got to meet her. And you climbed in the contraption? No one has ever tried to climb in mine. I always try to climb out of it.

I can't wait to get my Flat Puglet. I figured out who I'm going to send it to - my new friend Josie that I met at the ValenPug party. She's recycled and I know she would love to meet Flat Puglet.

Love the pictures of Hope & Antigone & you in the contraption- very cool!

My humans are taking me and FP wine tasting this weekend. We only visit the dog friendly wineries and there are a lot of them, which is super cool.

I have been wine tasting a lot and I love all the attention I get when we go. My favorite wineries are down south in SLO and we go there a lot too. I actually have a cool bandana that says WINE DOG that I wear. We are going to bring awareness of the FP project when we go. Can't wait!

THE PUGLET said...

Oh Stubbs -

that's so sweet of you to send your flattie to Josie. I thought about sending one to Jenny but my human said that might be kinda creepy and VERY stalker-ish.

I still can't believe you have your own contraption. I totally want one but there's no way we'd ever get Dutch in it.

THE PUGLET said...

Spencer B!

Dog friendly wineries? I didn't know there was such a thing. VERY cool.

I'm so glad the flat me is going to get to see one. We went to a winery once but me and Dutch had to wait in the car while my human did all the drinking.

She said grapes can kill (dogs, I mean) so be careful not to go near the evil grapes!

SpencerBartholomew said...

Hey Puglet!

Yea, I don't get to have any of the grapes-that's a big no mom says. I just eat the bread sticks. We have picnics when we go so I always get a piece of cheese too. Oh and my grandpahuman cuts me up my very own salami too. Yumm....don't worry I will share with the FP too!!

Stubby said...

Puglet - I hate my contraption! It is smaller than Antigone's and was designed specifically for dogs. Dutch would never fit in mine but I know they make a bigger one (I have the mini). Have your human check it out at www.doggyride.com.

Stubby xoxo

Breadsticks? Cheese? Salami???

Forget about FP - take me instead!!!

Cool ride, Stubbs! I wonder why you don't like it. I mean, there's even a pug on the doggyride website!?!

We got our FlatPuglet today. The first picture was in a crib, because we are expecting a baby, maybe tonight!!!
So very happy about Hope's new home. Her new humans and she will share a LOT of love.

Phoebe and Kizzy -

That is so superawesome, letting Flat Puglet share such a special event with your family!!!

I can't think of a better way to show the world how lovable and perfect a recycled dogs can be.

Hiya Puglet!
It's so great to hear that Hope found a good home! I checked out her blog to say hello and I wish her the best since that is what she deserved! It's great that you raise awareness for pugs like her and other animals! I think someday you will achieve your dreams of being famous! Check out my blog sometime!
Many hugs and kisses from Patty the Pug!
